I’m honoured to share with you my most recent project ‘Aphorisms’ which will debuting on 07.12.2019 in London. ‘Aphorisms’ is a multimedia capsule consisting of sculpture, immersive interactive artwork and film. My investigation into the subjective experience of mental health is an ongoing fixture that we face daily which lead me to producing a series of works from within. In association with farewell* ‘Aphorisms’ materialized into a compelling narrative displaying the constitutional reforms and restraints repressed by the rulers of autocratic power. Huge thank you to Austin at Tesla for making a dream reality an enabling me to work with Tesla product to produce an immersive experience for guests to experience on the 7th. Eriq Marquez @ericmarqq for directing the film wit me, alongside @armani.ma Being my right hand men through this journey. @flotheproducer @logicofficial @nathalieimani @noty2kcomplient @tyrx15 @eliaslauronen @13thkizz - I couldn’t have done it without you guys. Thank you for travelling to Sweden and supporting the movement in every way possible. The ‘Aphorisms’ physical environment collides virtual reality, luxury automotive manufacturing and fine art into a spearheaded dual experience. Designed to stimulate multiple sense, Achiké recycles, reforms and repurposes vegan white leather seats by pacesetters Tesla. At the forefront of automobile seat design and car innovation this is a match made in heaven. Once seated, the immersion begins, placing a six sided mirrored cube onto your head you are thrust into a small-scale simulacrum of Gothenburg, Sweden. The 3D simulated environment navigates you through the creative journey in which the team embarked on to create the film ‘Aphorisms’ which attendees collectively watch once entering Achiké’s atelier. Began this journey in Beijing around 6 months ago when I fell in love with the intricate attention to detail, the purpose behind a structure & how it compliments the environment it inhabits. These three-dimensional freestanding objects represent balance, support and stillness. 2/4 of the collection I’ve been working on since being back in London. ‘Within’ Inside the box opposed to outside the box, is where the true creativity and freedom resides. A human silhouette created from vegetable pigment, is permanently fixed into its surroundings to represent the stagnant problems and restraints fixed in society that often imprisons and suppress our everyday movement. Fluid answers lay inside the boxed mind.

‘Untitled’ ‘Bloody hands’ The juxtaposition between the beautiful land we inhabit, nature and the irreversible damage caused by human construction is an uncanny contrast that has lead me into a more figurative approach. A porous material suffocating the nature that once flourished.

I'll cherish these moment forever, In what began as a solitary endeavor, which then blossomed into an immersive, communal multi-sensory environment bound by love. The conceptual artwork i installed into my studio came to life after the question, how long does it take to form a bond with one another? Came to mind, further more without speaking. Eye contact and body language often neglected and over shadowed in society, i feel holds the key to a greater understanding and bond between one another. Installation Instructions were as followed; INSTALLATION: UNITY PLEASE PROCEED IN SILENCE. OPEN NOTES ON YOUR PHONE AND WRITE A SIGNIFICANT MESSAGE TO THE PERSON YOU’RE ENTERING WITH, TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF & SWAP PHONES. NOW TAKE A SEAT EITHER SIDE OF THE GLASS BEGIN TO TRANSLATE THIS MESSAGE BY ONLY USING EYE CONTACT AND BODY LANGUAGE. As the sun set and the installation illuminated a third of the room, we then began to participate in what felt like telepathic game of millennial charades. Paired up with a person who you'd never made contact before, you then took the stage and had one minute to transmute your message to one another. Entering as two, pairs began to leave as one.. Tied by a deeper understanding, an ethereal energy stained the mood lifting us a heightened state of awareness and unity! A unified community! Every single person that came down to my studio touched my heart and the experience wouldn't have been the same without you! emotionally attached to this piece. gold & rose gold frequencies representing the two divine energies posses by a mother and her son, which when connected creates an eternally beautiful spark into our universe. when commissioned on this project and after hearing & understanding the blissful relationship between these two, it instantly made me reflect, cherish & mirror the relationship I share with my mum. the anthropology behind this one was a journey I’m so grateful for and I’ll hold it close to my heart forever. Hanbury St, E1 💚 A beautiful 5 days! From initially reaching out to @ashleyserrano__ to be her apprentice and pass her the paint whilst she works, to her offering me half the wall space to share my work with the world! Thank you so much for putting faith in me making my dreams reality! Often confined to studio space in West London, I jumped at the opportunity to use a 18ft x 64ft brick wall as my canvas right in the middle of the city that has my heart. I always intend on my art to spark some form of communication, with this piece I wanted to induce some thoughts on topics and ideologies that’ve been rattling around in my mind recently... came to the conclusion of shouting them at anyone that walks past my work. Incorporating my talented sisters hand painted eyes (blows my mind every time I go through her sketchbook with how she does this with oil and paper. Magician.) & one of my favourite pieces of work to date that I painted in la last year. I would say I hope you all like it but that isn’t what I’m after, I hope you all take time to think about some of the words and images on this mural and perhaps let me know what you think... good or bad, what stands out to you and why? last weekend I had the honour of hosting a handful full of amazing people in my studio to enjoy some beautiful music by @saztheband get some ink done by @naive_nish & take a look at some of my recent artwork! it was an ideal I’ve envisioned since moving into my studio in November which exceeded any expectations or dreams I had! The love, support and energy that was carried into my space of creation was so overwhelming and flattering, leaving me with a taste of what future holds.
