A day spent raising awareness for @Bethematch and the Mia Hamm Cancer foundation. When Kobe heard I was a stem cell donor, he asked me to join him for lunch. He cared deeply about cancer research and treatment. He talked about his family. I knew him as a fan, had a glimpse of him as a man. The children, his family, my Lord. Not just LA feels crushed by this news.

El Centro lost a legend in Brett Driscoll. Driscoll’s Sports HQ was as much a family as anything else for countless of us Valley teens. I was one of the fortunate ones to work there. Love to Lauryl and Coach Mike. Love to Mike Hardaway. Love to Brett’s children, family, grandchild. He was one in a zillion.
