Don’t ever settle! Love yourself enough to set boundaries. Love yourself enough to wait for that special someone to come into your life. Too many people prolong God’s blessings because they settle for 2nd best and then realize they want something better than 2nd best. Then they have to repeat the cycle. Friend, you’ll get what you want faster if you just wait. I know that sounds countercultural, but it’s the truth. When you wait for what you truly deserve then there is no repeating the cycle because you have exactly what God intended for you all along. If you’ve been in season of waiting, I commend you. Living a double life is exhausting. It’s so much easier to just be transparent because transparency is what brings true freedom. The enemy can’t make you ashamed of your secrets if they are no longer secrets. When we humble ourselves and admit our shortcomings, not only will God exalt us, but it is then we will find healing. I don’t know what you’ve been going through, I don’t know what you’ve been ashamed of lately, but I want to remind you that it is only God‘s opinion of you that truly matters. He holds the keys to your destiny; the person that you are afraid of does not. Like David, when you’re in a position of leadership, it can be tempting to hide your private sin. While you’re busy trying to perform and make everyone think you’re “all to the good” you’re only hindering yourself. Be set free my friend. We all make mistakes and we all fall short of the glory of God. The only way that you can move forward is by being transparent. David was able to move forward after he confessed his sins to Nathan the prophet. And GUESS WHAT? He still lived a blessed life, because God is not looking for perfect people… He is looking for humble people who love Him and have a heart of repentance. If you’ve been messing up lately, don’t be hard on yourself. Talk to God, talk to a friend, and move forward. Your mistakes won’t hinder your future, unless you allow them too. God forgives you. It is time to forgive yourself.

Despite what you may have heard purity is not just the absence of sex. Purity is God’s desire for the condition of our heart. Above all else we must guard our heart because it determines the course of our lives. So, when we have a broken-heart, we end up making broken decisions. When your heart is contaminated your decisions will also be contaminated. My broken heart led me down a path I wish for no person! It led me deep into depression, drug addiction, suicide attempts and so much more. I was a serial dater because I didn’t know how to be alone… How can you be alone with yourself when you don’t even love yourself? But I have good news! When you start seeking God, He will transform your life. He will pour out so much love upon you that you’ll confidently love yourself! He will take the broken pieces of your life and make them whole and complete lacking no good thing. A pure hearted person is a powerful person. Favor follows those who are pure in heart! If you’ve found yourself in a mess, God can get you through it! All you have to do is draw near to Him and He will draw near to you! I have challenged many of my friends and today I challenge you.... give God 30 days - seek Him through worship, prayer and read the Bible. Do you these three things every day in order for the next 30 days and I promise you you will notice a dynamic difference in your life. Last week, I filmed a quick teaching on shame. I talked about how shame had me afraid to share my story. When I first began attending church I thought everyone was perfect and they’d reject me if they knew all the horrible things I had done. Shame comes from fear of people. How terrible it is to fear a person. I remember the day Jesus set me free from shame and I told everyone I came in contact with at church that “I used to be a porn star and a drug addict, but Jesus set me free! God is SO good.” I learned that transparency silences the enemy. The enemy can’t tell me that everybody is going to find out that I used to be a porn star and reject me if I’ve already told everybody. I took his bullets away and he has nothing on me. I don’t know what you’ve been ashamed of, but you really have nothing to be ashamed of. Who cares what people think of you? Their opinion means nothing. When God set me free, He said, “If what Jesus did on the cross was enough for you, then why are you ashamed of the very thing he died for you for?” God’s got you covered and works all things together for good, but how can He work something together for good if you’re too ashamed to talk about it?! Be set free friends! Choosing to walk in freedom regardless of what people think or say about you is a mega blessing I don’t want you to miss out on!

Been up since 2:45 am without a nap 🤪 Today was Jada’s first flight! She did great! I on the other hand got sick yesterday. Keep me in your prayers please! It’s just a cold, but I’m amazed at how much energy I still have. All my mom friends can relate I’m sure. Sickness literally can’t take you out. If you let it, who will nurse the baby (amongst the million other things we do to make sure our families are good)? Be careful who you reveal your weaknesses to when going through tests & trials. Not everyone will be there to lift you up & when you get back up, some people will still see you for the weaknesses you exposed. They fail to recognize that everyone falls short, but it’s the persistent, committed, & strong who get back up. If you’ve fallen weak yet arose In strength, I commend you today.

Seven years ago I walked into this church high on drugs. I was lost and confused. I had just quit the porn industry, by faith. I had no idea where I was going to work nor how I was going to pay my bills. My net worth was said to be $3.5 million, yet I left with only $1,500 to my name - my very last paycheck. That’s how bad my addiction was 😞 + my frivolous spending. But regardless of how broke, broken, and broke down I was, I had something great inside of me. I had FAITH! I believed that God could take my messed up life and turn into a message that would glorify Him! I believed that He could heal me of my drug addiction! I believed that even though I had made some pretty bad mistakes in my past that He would not only forgive me, but that He would bless my life like no man ever could. Friends, God is good! He will work with whatever faith you place in Him, so make sure you put a lot of it in Him. Who would have thought that seven years later I’d be standing here with the most amazing man and my precious baby girl?! Who would have thought that I would go from a porn star to a pastor?! Seriously?! WEIRD hahaha! I never would have dreamt this life. All I wanted to do was serve God, because I fell in love with the one who forgave me of my sins. Thank you Jesus! I don’t want my daughter to follow in my footsteps. I want her to take the path next to me and go further than I could have ever dreamt possible. Because of this, I have to remind myself daily to dream big and to work hard. Life is what you make of it. Don’t let your mind (or others) tell you what you can’t do. “With God, nothing shall be impossible.”

When I look into your eyes, I am reminded of several things. I am reminded to stay grateful - every good and perfect gift comes from above... You are a gift from God. I am reminded to not sweat the small (or big) stuff. When everything’s going wrong, you’re like Jesus on the boat.... at peace in the midst of a storm. I’m also reminded that happiness always comes from within.... You only play with 4 toys, yet you’re always happy. Because it’s not “stuff” that keeps us happy, it’s God & the quality of our lives. Materialistic items don’t add quality, but our relationships do. Jada Rose, you’re my bff. You don’t even talk yet, but your soul speaks loud and clear. Thank you for making my world better and the quality of my life greater.

I was given plenty of opportunities to settle in relationships, but I’m so grateful I refused to do so. I had eyes for my husband far before he did me. I knew he was God’s best for me. So, while waiting patiently and working on myself, I turned down everyone other guy in hopes that one day, THIS would be my reality.... married to not just a man, but to The very man I desired. Because I waited on God, I got exactly what He promised me... my family. When tempted to settle, DON’T! Wait for God’s best. You’re worth His best. Your future is worth His best. Stay patient and keep growing. Good things always come to those who wait upon the Lord.

There is nothing that you are going through today that the presence of God can’t solve. His presence may not always change your circumstances, but His presence will always change the way you view your circumstances.

Today was such a special day. Seven years ago I showed up to church like a hot mess 😜 (keeping it real). I had just quit the porn industry and desperately needed God in my life. My daughter is tangible proof that God answers prayers. I remember the day I went to a natural medicine doctor for treatment for chronic fatigue & brain fog. She ran some tests and then proceeded to tell me the cause of my chronic fatigue was my hormone levels. She then told me that with progesterone levels that low I would not be able to conceive a child. That news shook me! All I’ve ever wanted was to be a mother. I learned through that season to not want something so badly that you can’t be happy without it. I began praying and started natural treatment. 10 months later, we found out we were pregnant. Today, I want to encourage you, there IS power in prayer! Don’t stop believing just because you haven’t received the answer, yet. God is working on your behalf and will do His part, but we also have to do ours. Faith without works is dead. In my situation, I prayed fervently, but I also sought medical treatment and there’s no shame in that. Be brave enough to do what you can do, pray, and trust that God will do what He can do. #minime #twinning #JadaRose

Craig and Jeanette are onto new things and the Lord told Craig to give my husband and I the ministry they founded 20 YEARS ago. 35 Weeks Today 😍 One of the questions I get asked the most is, “How did you pick your daughter’s name?” One day, before I conceived I prayed about a name for my future child and the name Jada entered my heart. This was never a name I had ever before considered. I decided to look up the definition and was amazed when I saw something on google that said the name comes from The Old Testament “Yadah” which means “He Knows”. However, as I began to dig deeper, I’ve since realized that Yadah (Jada) actually means “To give thanks, praise, and to confess the name of God”. I am in awe of this because last year I was terrified (yes I said it, terrified) that I would not be able to have children due to a few things, but one being a bad report from the doctor. But God had other plans! Every day since the day I conceived, I have praised God and thanked Him for this beautiful miracle growing on the inside of me. I know that it’s because of Him that I get to have children. So, come to find out that my daughter’s name means to thank and praise brings tears to my eyes and a smile to my heart because God gave me her name before she was ever in my womb. All along God knew! How silly of me to miss what He was doing 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ (I’m only human). My daughter’s name means everything to me, because God chose her name and because she, @richardelamora , and I will forever praise His name. Her middle name is Rose because my middle name, Renee, comes from my Aunt’s middle name and her daughter’s middle name is Rose. Her daughter is one of the sweetest, brightest, most positive, happy-go-lucky girls I have ever met. She radiates love and light. I absolutely adore her, so we gave our daughter her middle name. #JadaRose

Once again I am feeling ever so grateful! This past Saturday my husband’s side of our family hosted the most gorgeous baby shower for us. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this. I am blessed with the best sisters & mother in-law. No detail went unnoticed! Thank you to our friends and family who came out to celebrate Jada Rose. We are thankful for each and every one of you. #babyshower ** Update, I’m almost 35 weeks pregnant and my doctor said our daughter is in perfect labor position 😭🙌🏼🤗 She’s head down and her butt is facing my tummy. She’s just as ready to meet mommy and daddy as we are her.
