Today was filled with great food and conversation. I’m convinced I might need to start watching @americanidol again, these girls convinced me - I seriously had no idea Simon Cowell was no longer a judge until today 😂. I met these two early last year while filming for TBN and we all coincidently got pregnant around the same time - so naturally we needed to catch up before our babies come 😍😍😍 @allijoyvazquez & @jamiegraceh love you both SO much!!! So excited to be on a similar journey with you both. Can’t wait to see you again. Next time we really will need a table for a party of 6 😍😍😍👶🏼👶🏽👶🏻

Today makes me so happy. We are exactly 3 months away from Jada’s due date (Aug 5). I am so in love with her already. I cry every time I think about the day I will get to meet her face-to-face and hold her for the very first time. These moments are extra special to me because last year I didn’t even know if I was going to be able to have children. I had so many moments filled with doubt. In my heart, I knew God was going to come through for me, but I didn’t have peace because I allowed my mind to make me think otherwise. When your mind and heart are out of alignment you’ll always lose your peace. I remember one day, I was so down, I refused to get out of bed (unbeknownst to my husband). My husband, being the man of God that he is, heard from God. God told him, “Leave work, go home, & get your wife.” That day spoke volumes to me. This was the hardest season I had found myself in in 7 years. But to know that God was right there with me, that He had my best interest at heart, so much so that He would send someone to pull me out of the pit I had placed myself in was life-changing. From that day forward I quit speaking doubt. I began standing on God’s promises and refused to let negative thinking consume me. I took control over my thoughts, prayed hard, and I praised like the victory was already mine! Several weeks after my surrender, my husband and I found out we were pregnant. I made many mistakes during this season of trial & learning. I put my desires above my trust in God & in doing so, everything became out of order. I don’t know what you might desire, what you’ve been waiting on in life, but trust that God is going to come through for you. Praise Him like you already have the victory. Just because things don’t line up with your time table, doesn’t mean you’re behind. God came through for me years later than I expected, but He still came through. Remember, His timing is so perfect and when you get what you’ve been hoping for all the tears you cried and time spent waiting will make perfect sense. Remember, there is power in both trusting the process and in total surrender.

Woo Hoo @angel_delamoraa !!! YOU DID IT!! You’re officially a college grad and you made it look SO easy. You have had a lot on your plate for the past several years (and I mean a lot!), yet you always had a smile on your face. You’re an inspiration to so many. You’re gifted, you have a pure heart, & impeccable character. You’re a gift to your generation. We are so proud of this accomplishment & know there will be many more to follow. We love you dearly! Congrats!!!

I’m 26 and half weeks pregnant and still faithful to my kickboxing class. Not going to lie, Tuesday I had some leg cramping, but pressed through. Today, I’m having a growth spurt in my uterus 😜 and just couldn’t take it, I left a little early. All in all, if your doctor says you can workout during pregnancy, you should still listen to your body. Don’t feel bad if you have to cut a workout short or not show up at all somedays. What would be worse than either of those is to do real harm to your body. Give yourself grace. Some days you’ll feel like super woman and others... well, you might feel like grandma 👵🏻. But you’re growing a human and that’s the most amazing part of it all. Be proud of yourself & just enjoy the journey.

The other night I made this for dinner. But I’m not a fool, I made extra falafel so I could enjoy it for the next few days! 😍 I just put them on a veggie salad with Greek & feta dressing from @traderjoes and then I was really feeling some bruschetta & fresh mozzarella on top of gluten-free brown rice toast. Such a flavorful meal 😍 The Salad makes me feel like I’m in #Jerusalem and the toast takes me back to #Italy

You don’t get a fire simply because you want one, you get a fire when you create one. I fully agree that we need to wait upon God in our lives, but we also need to be sensitive enough to His voice that we know when to GO. I often hear people say, “I’m just waiting on God” while secretly bitter at Him for not moving fast enough. Could it be that you’re not moving fast enough? In 1896, there was man named Henry A. Jackson who developed the first kitchen table that many of us eat our meals at to this day. Imagine if he had sat around and waited on God to build the table. That would be crazy. God provides the wood, now get up and build. I wonder what things in your life God has provided for your success that you aren’t tapping into? Instead of sitting around and waiting, be proactive. Ask God (and others) for wisdom regarding your situation and do something about it. Sure, there are times in life when there isn’t much we can do, but there are times in life when there is plenty we can do. Discern the difference between the two, and if there’s something you can do to better your situation, then do it! What are you waiting for? #freshfire

When the doorbell rings unexpectedly with a delivery because your thoughtful husband wants to surprise you with “pregnancy shoes” (his words 😂😍); because we’ve heard I probably won’t be able to tie my shoe laces forever 💁🏻‍♀️🤰🏻. My daughter and I (in that tummy of mine) spent an entire day with both of her great-grandmas (aka two of my BFF’s! I love my grammies). 😭 I feel so blessed to have them both with us. They are SO excited to meet their great-granddaughter & began spoiling her months ago. Our daughter is already so loved and so blessed. #babybump

This year, the THREE of us would like to wish you a very Happy Easter. We are so grateful for the death & resurrection that has literally transformed our lives. My husband nor I would be who we are today without the cross. We hope you have a super blessed day! #HappyEaster

I bet you wish you were in my shoes right now. Flowers & Dessert? Yes please 😍🙋🏻‍♀️ Not a cheat meal because I work pretty hard at eating well. This is a treat meal. Cheat insinuates that you’re cheating yourself, when I’m actually treating myself. By the way, this place is amazing! New fave spot.

This is a topic that’s been heavy on my heart for years. It all started when one year I heard that two people I was close to at point in my life had passed away. One was a father and the other was a single young woman. Both were under the age of 30. My heart broke for their families. I began to think about those in my life whom I’m currently close to. I asked myself, “If any of them died today, would I be okay with the relationship I have with that person?” To be honest, the answer was “no”. There were family members I was bitter towards, there were friends I hadn’t been honest with, and there were people I needed to call. I needed to mend these relationships because if something happened to them, I wouldn’t have peace in my heart. I would have wished I had done more, spent more time with them, expressed my love for them, forgiven them, asked for forgiveness, etc. I began this journey and never looked back. To this day, if I get into an argument with a loved one I instantly think, “Is it worth it? If they lost their life today would I feel ok with the condition of our relationship?” The answer is never yes. So, I instantly get on the phone and mend the relationship. I am quick to forgive and I am quick to apologize. This is God’s heart and this should be our hearts. What relationships do you need to mend? Who do you need to forgive? Who do you need to ask for forgiveness? There’s no better day to do so than today. (Full Video - Link In Bio) #Forgive #LoveLikeTheresNoTomorrow

Today’s lunch was too yummy not to share. This recipe was inspired by @rawvana I took a recipe her and her mom made and added my own twist. Ingredients: - 1 can of garbanzo beans - 1/2 tablespoon Mayo of your choice (veganaise keeps it vegan) - Mustard - Pickles - Celery - Tomato - Avocado chunks - Garlic powder Put garbanzo beans in food processor & chop 1-2 times. Then stir in the rest of your ingredients. You can put this on some toast or eat it as I did with some gluten-free brown rice crackers. Make it your own! This meal is high in fiber, protein, & healthy fats. ** I didn’t add measurements for most items because you can add as much or as little as you’d like. Enjoy!

Today is April 1st, which means that it is officially MY BIRTHDAY! Last night, my husband asked me, “How does it feel to be almost 32?” I said, “Well, if I looked at my timeline, I would say that I feel behind. I thought that by now I would already have children amongst a few other things. However, when I dig deeper to take a look at God’s sovereignty, then I would say that I am right where I am supposed to be in life. God is never late and He is never early. He is always right on time. His timing is perfect and I trust that I am right where I am supposed to be in life.” So, here’s to 32! I am grateful to be alive, beyond blessed to be pregnant by the most amazing man I’ve ever laid eyes on, and in complete awe of God’s continued faithfulness. When we look at what we don’t have we will always feel behind in life, but in doing so we miss out on the joy of everything we do have. Since today is MY BIRTHDAY, my wish is that YOU (yes YOU) would have a change in perspective. Can you look at everything that’s actually going well in your life and be grateful for those things? Sure, sometimes things could be better, but remember they could also be worse. Let’s make the world a better place today by starting today off with a grateful heart 💗. I love you friends! #22weekspregnant

Being pregnant with my sister, the woman who has been my best friend the longest, the sweet girl I shared a bedroom with growing up, the woman I’ve laughed with, fought with, and cried with has truly been the best experience! She was the first one to know I was pregnant and has been there for me every step of the way. Our time of being pregnant together is coming to an end. She will be giving birth to my niece any day now & I can’t wait to give birth to hers (in a few months)! Thank you for being the best sister a girl could ask for! I love you like crazy forever and always! Praying you have an easy labor. I can’t wait to meet my niece 😍😍 #pregnantsisters

Emotions are fickle. One moment they’re up and the next they are down. When you’re full of hurt, offense, and anger then you’ll be led by these things, but when you’re full of the spirit then you’ll be led by God’s spirit. Because whatever you’re full of is what you’ll be led by. It’s dangerous to be led by your emotions because they will always lead you astray, but God will always show you the way. Check out the full video, titled Take Control Of Your Emotions. Link In Bio. We pray that it blesses you and guides you down the peaceful path 💗🙏🏼

I can’t believe I’m already Half Way Through my pregnancy 🙌🏼😍🤗. Time is going by quickly. • • Fun Facts! I am 20 weeks pregnant today. I’m due August 5th. Our daughter moves around almost every time I eat. I don’t crave food very often. In the beginning I did want junk food - I craved Macdonald’s, Taco Bell & Hot Cheetos, which is so weird because I hadn’t eaten any of these foods in probably 10 years - I gave into each craving once (hot Cheetos twice), but then I told myself NO MORE! This food isn’t good for me or my baby. So, I’ve been practicing self-control and since then have not had any cravings (mind over matter 🤷🏻‍♀️). Now I just want to eat as clean as I can. I eat mostly plant based, but do eat salmon or meat on occasion, if I feel like that’s what I want or if that’s all that’s available (potlucks 😜). I never had morning sickness. My worst pregnancy symptom was headaches in the beginning and now I get heartburn once or twice per week. I workout 4-5 days a week and am grateful to have the energy to do so. • • Last year when I was told that with my progesterone levels as low as they were I would not conceive or that if I did conceive, I would miscarry (because I was premenopausal), I began working with a natural medicine doctor to regulate my hormones. I am grateful I did this, because I believe this is a huge reason my pregnancy has been so easy. It’s also the reason I was able to conceive in the first place... 🙌🏼 that and of course because of all the prayers we sent up to Heaven. If you’ve been trying to conceive, don’t give up miracles do happen! Also, check out @naturalfertilityinfo they have incredible resources. My doctor actually prescribed me herbs from their website to help me conceive last year! I’m praying for you today and I believe your miracle is on the way! 💗

Tonight’s dinner was on point & SO easy! I’m practicing easy recipes for when my daughter arrives to earth. Because many moms have told me I won’t have as much time 🤷🏻‍♀️ This meal took 5 minutes and is packed with nutrients. I pretty much shopped the frozen section at Trader Joe’s and bought the new Vegan Crab Cakes (made out of jackfruit) & I bought a bag of Roasted Potatoes with Peppers & Onions. Grill it up on the stove, squeeze lemon on the “crab cake” - throw it on a bed of mixed greens with your fave dressing and you’ve got yourself a mouthwatering meal in about 5-7 mins!! 💪🏼💪🏼 #traderjoes

What does your past look like? We have all done things that we aren’t proud of, but what I love about God is that when you seek Him daily, He won’t allow your past to hinder you. He will show you that regardless of how ugly or messy the decisions in your past may look, you are still worthy. You’re worthy of real true love, you’re worthy of conquering big dreams, you’re worthy - Period. Don’t allow your past to hinder you. Don’t let shame get the best of you. Be grateful for your past & every mistake you’ve made because of the lessons you learned. You’re wiser and stronger today because of the mistakes you’ve made. So instead of hiding from your past, embrace it & give the God of second chances all the glory. With Him by your side, you can create the life you’ve always hoped for. #DontSettle

Good Morning! Just an update, the episode we shot for @lifetodaytv with James and Betty Robison will air on March 11. My husband and I are so grateful to have met these two! They are living examples of what it means to be two powerful, dedicated, and an on fire couple for God! Totally my new role models! They are amazing and remind me so much of my sweet Papa (in heaven) and loving nana (who thankfully is still here with me). Can’t wait for this to air! I’ll send out a reminder closer to the date. Just wanted to inform those who were asking.

I love how God will always send you someone who’s either on the same journey as you or has walked through the journey you’re currently on. He will send us someone to rejoice with and someone to mourn with. We are never alone, though at times it may feel like it. You’re not the only one going through whatever you might be going through. Whether you’re on a high in life or a low, there is someone who is willing to walk through the journey with you, even if it’s just God himself. I’ve had a lot of lows in life. I’ve cried on plenty of shoulders and spoke to many listening ears, but today I’m grateful to be in a season of Rejoice! And even more grateful to walk through this journey of pregnancy with my sister-in-law who’s due 2 days before me (and my sister - not pictured- who’s due 4 months before me). There’s always someone on the same journey. It’s up to us to find them, so we don’t have to do life alone.

Today was such a blessing. My husband and I got to do an interview with THE James & Betty Robison for @lifetodaytv We went on the show to encourage others with our story, but I left feeling encouraged and inspired by the way these two have chosen to live their lives 70+ years! I’m beyond refreshed and excited to keep doing big things for God. He’s on a mission to bring healing to All who need it.💗

Today was Such a special day! I had another ultrasound and our baby is healthy! Everything looks great! Today, our baby was being a little stubborn and pretty much refused to wake up (sounds like mama, don’t wake me when I’m sleeping, or else 😂). So the ultrasound was a long one - and I’m not even mad, I can stare at my sweet little baby forever. I heard the heartbeat and I even got to see our little baby swallowing amniotic fluid. Also, like mother like child - we BOTH had full bladders 😂 I thought that was pretty funny. Thank you to all whom have been praying for us! Your prayers are being answered! And thank you for joining me on this journey to motherhood. #pregnancyupdate

Today I have been doing some reflecting. It just hit me that we only have two @uprisingyoungadults services left. It has been such a great run. I’ve served in this ministry for 6 years and led it (with my amazing husband and incredible team) for 3. I am extremely grateful our Pastors gave us this incredible opportunity. We were able to build a community of people who deeply love the presence of God. That is so sweet, so pure, and will always make me smile. I met my husband in this ministry 😍, I learned practically everything I know about ministry in this ministry, and I’ve built friendships that will last a lifetime. My life was radically changed in this ministry and for that, I will forever be grateful! We still have two services left - tonight & next Friday, join us at 8pm - we will be serving Hot Cocoa tonight 😋 Bring a friend and join us for the FUN. #uprisingya #cornerstonesd (swipe for pics)

Many times we can become so consumed in getting to the next destination that we fail to enjoy the now. When we are single we want to be in a relationship, once we are in a relationship we want to be married, once we are married we want children and so forth. There’s nothing wrong with wanting things, but there is something wrong when wanting “that thing” becomes an obsession. Because when we are obsessed with getting what we don’t have, we can’t enjoy what we do have. We were meant to enjoy the journey of life. There are so many blessings in this day that many of us have overlooked because we so desperately want to pack our bags and jump on a plane into tomorrow. Enjoy life. Don’t worry, everything is going to be okay. What’s for you will find you in God’s perfect time. Trust in Him and remind yourself that what’s out of your control is still in God’s control.

Last night I spoke on the importance of having a grateful heart. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “Be thankful in all circumstances”. Notice this scripture doesn’t say to be thankful only when everything is going right. It doesn’t say be thankful only when you get blessed. It says be thankful in all circumstances. This means regardless of what you might be going through, you can still be thankful. Sometimes life’s greatest blessings come wrapped up and disguised as a “curse”. You know, like that breakup that crushed your heart years ago, but now you’re married to a man 10 times as great. Or that job you got laid off of, but now your salary is near double what it was. Life’s storms have a way of maneuvering us to where we are supposed to be in life. This is why it’s important to be grateful for the trials. Praise God for the trials because your praise is what ushers in the presence of God. I don’t know about you, but when I am in seasons of utter darkness I want to make sure the presence of God is with me. So if it’s our gratitude and praise that attracts His presence, then we should do more of it. Put away the complaining, it doesn’t get you anywhere anyway (and it only sucks the life out of you and everyone around you) and start praising God! Praise Him for everything that’s good in your life and praise Him for everything that appears not to be good at the moment. Remember, if you’ll give it to Him He will work it together for good! #grateful __________________________________________ Thank you @steph.badillo for being the best translator and friend 😘

Tomorrow, the episode I filmed for Joni Table Talk airs on @daystar at 7am, 8:30pm & 2am ET on @daystar I shared some things I haven’t spoke about very much in other interviews. I got super transparent, because that’s the only way I know how to be. When we are open and honest about our struggles, not only do we get set free, but others get set free as well. Thank you Joni (& friends) for inviting me to join you on Table Talk.

  • Brittni De La Mora

  • Brittni De La Mora
