DECEMBER- i started out at @thetabooshow for @stagshop - what can i say?!? their staff is SO good, so smart, and took such good care of me! and big thanks to @erinhorea & @marcushorea for being amazing. 🌟 from there i went to montreal, which was snowy & gorgeous, then on to the @pittsburghspearmintrhino - i did 4 shows & met some very big jd fans! 🌟 then it was back to #NYC for @nysapphire60 where i did my bad santa show & gave everyone presents to close out my year. 🎁 2019 was a LOT. it was busy, stressful, had it’s ups and downs, it’s highs & lows, but i’m happy. i’m (reasonably) healthy. i’m working on growing & healing, and above all... i’m so fucking lucky. THANK YOU to everyone who is a part of my life. here’s to an amazing 2020. 💓

NOVEMBER! first some much needed iron (i feel like i did an awesome job in 2019 trying to fix/figure this out!) 🩸 then i hosted monday night football for the first time at @sapphirelv702 where i always have the GREATEST time! 🏈 after that, i made my return to @sexpoaus @sexpoaustralia for an amazing show- i met fans, took pics, and did a workshop every day. i loved meeting @reallifeshan & @kevmack311 and reuniting with @belinda_gavin 😍 afterwards, i stayed to have a few meetings and i even recorded TWO podcasts down under- plus, made some plans for my next visit! 🎤 i also took a MUCH needed day at @peninsulahotsprings 😍 following australia, it was the @avnawards & @xbizofficial nomination parties back to back & both DIVINE & LOST LOVE got a lot of love! i can’t wait to see what the shows bring. 🌟 our 5th annual superhero thanksgiving was AWESOME!! i can’t explain how great it really is- i cook for three days leading up to it, and for one afternoon/evening the house is so full of people, love, food smells, laughter, drinks, just so...FUN. this year we also had a food drive to benefit @aplahealth and we raised 365lbs of food! upwards of 80 people showed up this year, and i’m grateful to every single one of them. ♥️ the very next day i left for canada to do a convention & more! (i’ll leave that for my next post!) 🌟 as the year comes to an end, remember...these are the HIGHLIGHTS of my year. there is a lot you don’t see here- some good AND some bad. 😉 ❤️

my birthday month- october! i went to a protest with @hernandochaves and came home with Herbie “foster fail #2 “ Jackson. he is easily the goodest boy around. (he’s also the only boy in the pack) ❤️ after that, it was back to pumping the iron back into my veins. 🩸 for halloween, i took part in an AMAZING event for @loversstores with @scarletleather @ms.briqhouse @carmen_calientebq @jenn.brice & more, raising money for a local DV org while watching the phenomenal talents of @valtesseproductions & having an incredible night. 🖤 the thing i’m MOST proud of in october (and certainly a highlight of every year!) was leading #TEAMWICKED in our 8th year raising money for @aplahealth by doing @aidswalkla . TO DATE, we have raised over $130,000 to support folks living with HIV. i am SO grateful to @wickedpicturesstories @wickedsensualcare and each and every one of you who have donated, spread the word, joined the team, or a combination of all the things! this is how i celebrate my birthday every year, and it’s one of those things in my life that gives me purpose & fulfills my passion. thank you @bradarmstrongdirector @theandyappleton @hernando_chaves & all of our core team members for always showing up for such a great cause. ❤️ showing up for someone/something is one of the greatest things we can do.

in september i did the grand opening of @youcanloveher at @youcanenticeher in toronto & met a few BIG fans, then went to detroit REALLY SICK to do a big @wickedsensualcare presentation all about lube with @cassalula (fun fact- i threw up literally 3 minutes beforehand, grabbed a mouthwash from the front desk, chugged some and kept going) 🤢 back home after i recovered, i gave a presentation called “Don’t Try This At Home” at @chapmanu to an awesome audience of curious minds. we talked about what people see in porn & how that translates to what they’re doing in their personal lives. 🌟 after that, i took the bad kitty show to @nysapphire_39 - enjoyed some extra time in NY, even saw @moulinrougebway 😻 on september 17, 2019, the industry lost @theofficialjessicajaymes - may she rest in peace. 🕊

WHOA AUGUST! i started out at @ecnwholesale at another great show for @wickedsensualcare with @wickedkail & @jenn.brice & also spoke on Doing What You Love to retailers, plus went to an AWESOME 80s party where i got to be my childhood idol - and i got to be @madonna twins with @lynda_mort !! 🌟 after that it was @woodhullsfa where Joan Price and I gave a special premier screening of Senior Sex, and i also presented with the legendary @miss_nina_hartley on Sex Work and Activism- plus saw friends like @aliciasinclair @thongria @ignixia.roberts & MANY more. 🌟 next i got back to my texas roots at @adamevedallas for a Talk About Sex workshop and met some great people who fed me good food while we told incredible stories. 🌟 i also spoke at the Center for Healthy Sex (thank you @sextherapistmom !) to a group of doctors and therapists and closed out my month at @ucla where we took a very candid look at ways that porn can have an impact on people who got little or no sex education growing up, and what can be done about that. here’s a hint- porn literacy groups & open conversations!! 🌟

in july i appeared at @sapphirelv702 to perform one night on stage, and then i hosted a pool party at @thesapphirepool the next day with my boys @hardnox 😻 🌊 my goth bb & i went to go see @billieeilish who was SO GOOD!!! 🖤 and then there was ANME with @wickedsensualcare to talk all things lube & do meetings! #EatSleepLubeRepeat 🌟

june was a REALLY fun month! i cut my hair. 😱 (thanks, @jacquelineluvhair !) then i flew to Philly for my third @theaasect conference and my FIRST time presenting. the amazing @connectivetherapy & i spoke to a packed room about sex workers as allies & teachers. i sincerely thank Angie & @hernando_chaves for believing in me and giving me a voice in places where no one was listening to s*x workers. 🙏🏼 🌟 i went to denver after that & taught the awesome @eldorado_trading crowd about managing consumer expectations & also LOVED getting to sit down & talk to @theannehodder - even if it was too quick! 🌟 i finished my june at my second @girlbossrally and was BLOWN away by some of the panelists & workshops. plus, i met & fell in lust with @thatgirlbishop 😻 i finished june SO motivated. 🌟

May 2019- i started my month doing a fundraiser at @ptsshowclubden where some awesome folks showed up, like @tarantinotriplex & @the.love.experts who donated a ton of product! 🌟 then, onto the 10th anniversary of @sexysuzathens in georgia where i taught mini workshops & met fans! 🌟 afterwards, i went back to LA to begin production on LOST LOVE directed by @bradarmstrongdirector for @wickedpicturesstories - this movie is BY FAR the most intense movie i’ve done in my career. 🌟 towards the end i went to teach at Pure Pleasure & dance at Sugar Daddy’s in minnesota where i got to meet so many awesome people! 🌟

April 2019! i finished shooting 🌟DIVINE🌟 by @bradarmstrongdirector for @wickedpicturesstories - then i was feeling good enough to get back to @theclass here in LA. after that, i went to vegas for @wickedsensualcare at @altitudeshow ! 🌟 by far, the thing i am MOST proud of in April (and most of the year, TBH) is partnering with the amazing Joan Price to create the newest guide in my educational series- SENIOR SEX. i am so grateful to everyone who took part in this project. @jennavalentine @barrettbladexxx @raethreat @tritonbeauking2 @galen_fous Marlene, Joel, Bonnie, @johnnylavigne and every organization we’ve screened it for, all the media who has covered it, and the viewers who continuously tell us how much they needed something like this...i’m also forever grateful that @wickedpicturesstories supports & encourages me. 🌟 most of all, i am thankful that the universe introduced me to Joan at Catalyst all those years ago. i KNEW we would do this together one day, and in the meantime, we got to be dear friends. if i am half the woman Joan is by the time i’m her age, i will be happy. 🌟

in march 2019 i got busy again. i went to the @the.teashow with the amazing @natassiadreamsofficial & @wickedsensualcare was a sponsor again! from there it was on to @sapphirelv702 then back to the hospital a few times for more infusions...then to new york to bring my bad kitty show to @nysapphire60 and THEN i started shooting DIVINE for @wickedpicturesstories with some amazing co-stars - @chanelsantini @thesmallhands_ @wxhx @sethgambleps @official_sean_michaels & more! my beautiful smol goth cupcake makeup magician @jennavalentine keeps me looking 🔥! #🌟🥰🌟

oh, february 2019... that was a tough one. i got sick after vegas and was in the hospital first for asthma, then for iron infusions- not once but THREE times. there were good things too though, like getting more of @tattoojune ‘s art on my body (one day it’ll be a sleeve!) and a DREAM booking at @archibalds_dc with my crush JANINE!! that one was on my bucket list. 💓

2. from the time i signed with @wickedpicturesstories , i was encouraged to grow in ways beyond doing scenes. i began writing in 2007. directing features in 2008. i started my educational series “jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex” in 2011, went on to become a certified sex educator, and throughout the years i have continued to star in movies that i am SO proud of. over my time with the company, i’ve learned so much about my own sexuality, and the past 4-5 years i have changed my on-camera sexual expression to match that of my personal life. i am so grateful to have this privilege. 🙏🏼
