Finally the 2 hours long ice sound-video is now uploaded! You can find the link in bio. The sounds in this video are all made by the lake/ice here in Grundtjärn, and I recorded the sounds in the beginning of november. The footage is both from this year and the previous year. I would recommend listening with headphones, since the quality get so much better and many of the sounds can't be hears trough the phone/computer. . What do you think about these sounds? Its very interesting because people react so differently to them. Some think they are beautiful, and some think they are only scary. But I feel really calm and relaxed when listening to it, even though I definitely think it sounds a bit scary when hearing and feeling the sounds out on the ice in the middle of the night. Its a very powerful sound. 😍 . Hope you like it ❤🙏❤ #ice #icesounds #singingice

A few things that makes me feel thousands of butterflies and tingles in my stomach: Seeing or being surrounded by mountains/fjäll. Zooming into a random road on Google Earth and following it in street view, pretending I'm on a roadtrip. Witness a very special or beautiful scenery in nature all alone and knowing that if I wasn't here at this specific moment, no one in the whole world would have seen it. Watching the nightsky for the first time after the bright summer nights, and pretending the gravity would let go and I would fall "down" into the endless space. iiihhh 😖😍 . Driving my car on an old, forgotten dirt road and having no idea where I will end up. Being up in the mountains and seeing a very low cloud moving really fast and "chasing" me, until I'm suddenly inside of it. Being in the middle of a cloud is something that both scares me and excites me at the same time. Dunno why 😋 Watching a really strong northern lights. So strong that it feels like you will get swallowed by the "boiling" colors in the sky. What gives you tingles/buttierflies in your stomach? 😍

A new video is now up on my YouTube channel, you can find the link in bio. I thought it was time for a good ol' vlog with a little update about our daily life right now and what I'm up to. . I let you know more about hows it going with our new jewelry collection and why we have not been able to release our new webshop yet. I let you see a little sneak peak of some pieces and some behind the sceenes work. And show how far we've come with the renovation in our new smithy! Small steps forward every day 🙏 . I also answer some questions about my previous video, the ice sounds video. And lots of more, of course! 😀 Hope you like it! ❤🙏

I just wanted to wish you all a beautiful weekend ❤ . It's friday night here and I am sitting in my studio editing film. And that is honestly one of the things I love to do the most. Except for being out in the mountains of course 😍 But right now, this cold and dark friday, there is no place I rather be than in here, in my own little bubble. With a huge cup of coffee. . What are you doing right now? ❤

For as long as I've lived here I've been so deeply fascinated by these sounds. And I made a little video to honor the beautiful ice-music concerts I've been given this last week. You can see the full video (4 min) on my Youtube channel, link in bio ❤ . The sound of the ice is among the most beautiful and magical sounds I know, and I also believe that the sound can have a very healing effect on humans. The singing ice can remind us of the sounds that the whales use to communicate with each other. And just like the ice, most of the sounds are such low frequency that you can not even hear it. Only barely feel it. . It also reminds many people of the sounds that can be heard from inside the womb. Maybe thats why it has such a calming effect on many people? ❤ . So, my recordings is only giving you a little part of the magical feeling you get from the singing ice. The sounds in my video can't represent the whole feeling of being out on the ice and hear and FEEL the sounds. But at least I hope to give you a little glimpse of these musical concerts by the ice. Hope you like it ❤🙏😍 #ice #icesounds #singingice #winter #magical #nordic #sweden #icesong

When you try to relax by the icy lake 😂😍 . The sounds from the ice this year is just breathtaking. So of course I will make a new video with ice music. Stay tuned 😘 . My sound recorder is out on the ice this night aswell, capturing these otherworldy sounds. Once in a while I walk down there to change batteries, and I gotta be honest, it feels a bit spooky. Total darkness, only the light from the stars...and then these loud ghostly, alien sounds from the ice. But I love it. What do you think about these sounds? 😘 #ice #singingice #icemusic #relaxation #winter #nordic #sweden #icesounds

After a cold night, the ice came sweeping in spreading it's glassy wings all over the lake. I went down there today, welcoming it's arrival and listening to it's otherworldy sounds. . As i sit here now in my little studio-cottage, I sometimes feel the vibrations through the walls from the roaring ice. It's just so powerfull. Every year I fall more and more in love with the ice. . My sound recorder is still down there, fighting the cold to hopefully record some of the songs tonight. This year the ice sings really high and loud. Almost like a ghost screaming out in the night 😍❤ #ice #winter #singingice #nordic #sweden #icy #cold

At the end of every winter, I always think about how I would react if there was another winter coming right after. No spring or summer in between. Only another half year of cold and darkness right away. And at that time, I always get a feeling that I would probably die if another winter came again without a break 😂 In march and april, my heart screams for sun and warmth, and for the snow to melt so I can walk freely in the forests again. Just watching old photos from summer and seeing all the green colors can make my eyes tear up. . And then, as the summer is over I think the same thought. How would I react if there would be another summer right away without the break of a long winter? And I almost feel panic. I just couldn't stand another summer without the wonderful winter in between. The winter is like taking a long, deep breath. It's like charging my soul with the crispy air, northern lights, stars and ice baths. . I realize how important each season is and how much I actually love every part of each cycle. I wouldn't want to change anything. As now, we are just entering the darkest time of the year, but it feels like someone is finally switching off the light so I can sleep💡 🛏

I've had so many beautiful encounters with birds lately. Today, as I was out taking photos in the forest, a little bird sat down on a branch in the tree in front of me, just 2 meters away. Looking right at me, singing a little tune, and just acting so curious in what I was doing. It just felt so special, as if it was trying to communicate with me. I couldn't stop smiling 😍 And in the early autumn, I had so many encounters with a golden eagle. I usually see them like twice a year. But for a couple of weeks I saw it everyday! It was just showing itself for a couple of seconds each time. . One evening I was sitting in my studio working in front of the computer, as I suddenly see a huge bird sitting down on a branch on the birch tree just outside my studio. I opened the door carefully and stuck out my head to see better. And there it was. The golden eagle, looking me right in the eyes. It felt so...very special that I just froze, starring back at the eagle. A second later the eagle raised its huge wings and flew away over the lake. I felt this deep joy afterwards. As if it came to tell me something good. I don't know, maybe it was all a coincidence. But I often see special encounters with birds as a sign of some sort ❤🙏

The winter arrives with a lot of darkness, but with even more light. These last nights the nightsky almost swallowed me in it's beauty. I once again got reminded to why I love the winter so deeply. In a way, the darkness makes me become more aware of the light. And the cold makes me feel the warmth in a way I can never feel in the summer. Everything gets more clear. . This evening I was out walking with Johan and Nanook. We saw 5 shooting stars and we just starred up in the sky until our necks started to hurt. I didn't really know what to wish for. I felt so whole. And I feel so blessed, so deeply grateful to live here. So far away from the city lights, but so close to the starlight. . Also, I just want you all to know that I am so thankful for all your support in my previous post. I love you ❤🙏 #northernlights #auroraborealis #nightsky #winter #nordic #sweden #starlight

It's been such a long time since my last video, and in my new vlog I let you know the reason to that. (Link in bio) In September we had to deal with a very draining situation regarding a man that's been stalking me/obsessing about me in short periods of times each year, for the last 6 years. It's just become worse each year and this time it really was scary and creepy. We had to leave our house for a week until we knew he was taken care of. But it was not until a few days ago that I could finally relax for real since we got to know that he was back in his hometown far away. Then I finally stoped having nightmares about him and could sleep like normal again. It was a short but intense time of anxiety and worry, that turned our lifes up side down for a couple of weeks. Now I cleaned up in my studio (that he trashed) and burned up the paintings that he destroyed. "Cut your losses short" as my brother once said. It's all fine now and I am glad to be back on track, stronger than ever. I trust that it's all good now, that this man will get the help he need and that we will never ever be back in this draining situation 🙏❤ All is well. Now we move on, with another experience in the backpack. You can see the whole video on my Youtube channel or the link in bio. Take care everyone. Sending you all lots of love ❤❤❤

Last night I packed my things and drove to the mountains. How I've longed to be here again, breathing the cold air and letting my eyes drown in all the beauty. I will spend some time here now, charging myself with inspiration and just see what will come out of it. Internet is very bad in our little cottage (which I spent this whole day trying to solve) but I had to surrender to the fact that I won't be able to share any my new videos with you until I get home again. But I will see it as a good lesson aswell. To just allow myself to take the time and work on projects without having to share it the same second that Im done with it. Because that's usually how it is 😂 Instead I will just go with the flow and enjoy this week with my whole heart. And hopefully, I have some beautiful moments of these days to share with you as I come back home. Lots of love to you all! ❤ (I will try to make some stories so hope to see you there) #mountains #wheremyheartbelong #intothewild

A new video is now up on my YouTube channel, where I let you know what I've been up to lately (link in bio). Just like after every summer, I always feel some kind of relief as the autumn is getting closer. It's just something in the air. Something very calming and comfortable. And finally I have entered my own bubble. How I've missed loosing myself in creativity and the inner world. To finally have more time again, and be more by myself (as an introvert summers can be very hard with all the social stuff haha, anyone knows what I'm talking about 😂?) In this video I let you into the deep woods with berry picking, and I also share a new idea that I got, which has completely spellbound me. I have seriously been having a hard time to sleep because I feel to excited to get up in the morning to continue the project. I hope you like the video. I often feel thankful that photography and filming makes me do things I probably wouldn't have done if it wasn't for my urge to capture a special moment or express a certain feeling. Of course, a part of me always wishes to climb up that mountain in the midnight sun or walking barefoot in the snow or sitting in a white dress by the waterfall in the middle of the night. But if it wasn't for my passion to do photography or filming, I would be way to lazy to do that. The urge to capture it all and create something out of it and share with all of you out here, thats what puts gasoline on my fire. It gives me energy to do it even if I sometimes don't feel like it in the beginning. But always, always alwaaaays when I am out there capturing a moment of magic, I enjoy it with my whole beeing. I never regret it. Even if 70% of my focus is on running back and forth to the camera or thinking about how to get the most beautiful light, the rest of my 30% is sitting there thinking "Wow, I feel so alive right now". No matter how uncomfortable it is. I never really feel so much in the present moment as when I am out doing my thing. I never wanna stop feeling the urge to take photos or films. Because it forces me to get my ass out my comfortzone 🙏❤

Haven't been to my magical little forestlake in some time now. A neighbour heard an angry mama bear roaring closeby a while ago. I often get questions if I am ever sceard of the wild animals in the forest. And the truth is that yes, I am sometimes. Or, I would like to say that I have a deep respect for them. I never want to surprise them with my presence. I want to let them have plenty of time to run away as I am walking in the woods. I always sing or talk. In that way it's such a minimal chance that you would run into a bear or a moose etc. But I kinda like the feeling of not really being sure if I'm alone or not, and that we are actually just guests in the home of all the animals. I will go back there soon, singing some songs and hope that the mama bear enjoyed the surroundings of this lake just as much as I do 🐻

Nature is healing. In nature you can feel the higher frequency, just like in water, or in good music. If you feel down, take a walk in nature. Breathe in the golden light that finds its way through the trees and feel how all the different colors of green opens up your heart. It might not solve your problems or take away what makes you feel down. But it will make you feel a little bit better. It will raise your energy. And with higher energy you manage to see things from new perspectives and think outside the normal thinking patterns. I don't know what I would have done without nature and the forest so close by. It's like a good friend. Always there when I need it the most 🙏❤

Sorry for spamming you guys with our wedding lately 😂 But I just want to let you know that I just uploaded a new vlog where I share all about our wedding and everything else thats been going on this month. It has definitely been the most intense and wonderful summer in my life with so many huge changes going on. For a while I had like an overload of feelings so that everything just felt like a distant dream, and that I would soon wake up. I just could not feel the joy of our new house anymore since I constantly felt that it was like a rented summerhouse and that we soon needed to leave. Such a weird feeling that I just couldn't get rid off. But after the wedding we took some time to get back on track and I realized we only needed some time to let it all sink in. I let you know more about this and lots of more in the video. The whole video is 25 min long and you can see it on my YouTube (link in bio ) Hope you like it 😘❤ Lots of love to you all!

This melody came to me on the night of summer solstice, and it's my very first try on the ancient instrument "Nyckelharpa" together with some kulning. I am totally new to it, so the tones might be a bit shaky and shy! 😀 But I love to combine nyckelharpa with kulning, since these sounds really reminds me of the past. Of something forgotten. Like an old fairytale that comes to life. So I sooo much look forward to continue practice so that I can create more freely. You can see the whole video on my YouTube, link in bio. 9 months of waiting was definitely worth it! My baby has arrived 😍😂 My very own "nyckelharpa", made by a well known Swedish craftsman named Olle Plahn. Nyckelharpa is a very old Scandinavian instrument with a sound that just speaks to my soul. For a year now I have been longing to have my own so that I can begin to learn it and use it for my music and kulning. Thank you Mattis and @niklasroswall for inspiring me to learn nyckelharpa and telling me about this very talented craftsman. I sometimes feel like the nights I spend outside gives me more energy than actually staying in my bed sleeping. In the long run at least. It just fills me with so much happiness. It was 400 years ago now, since my ancestors came and built their homestead at this place. And now, we finally are back to our roots. We have moved into the house of our dreams, and I have never felt so strongly that I am on the right place. It feels like it has always been our home. Waiting for our return. Now we have lived here for 5 days and every morning as I look out the window and see the lake and the forest I just feel so deeply thankful for everything. Finally, we are home ❤ As you might have notice, I have been very unactive on the social media this month, and that is because of us moving to the house. We have put all our focus into getting ready with everything here, so we would be able to start working and living like normal as fast as possible. A new video from my past week is now up on youtube (link in bio). It's been a lot of focus lately on getting done with the jewelry orders, and tonight me and Johan celebrate that all the orders since august is finally done! Johan have spent all his time in the smithy since we started with the jewelry 7 months ago, and I am so proud of him that he managed to keep the energy up through the huge amount of work that he has done ❤ When he quit his job as an electrician to start working with his passion we had to have a plan B, in case we would not get enough orders for him to make a living. That was our biggest worry. Never could we guess that by November we would have to close the webshop because the order queue began to go bananas 💃 We are both so deeply thankful for the amazing response and for our patient customers that had to wait several months to finally get their jewelry. It's been lots of work but we have also had lots of fun. Now we will celebrate and then get started with all our new ideas and visions regarding the future of our jewelery. It feels so wonderful to finally get more time for designing and experiment again. Another new chapter in life. Lots of love to you all ❤🙏❤

A new kulning/herdingcall-song is now up! (Link in bio to see full video) I call the song "Winter's lullaby". A song to express my love and gratefulness for the winter that gave me all this magical moments during these 6 months. But also, a song to let it go. To let go of the cold and the dark, and welcome a new time of light and warmth. This song is for the winter, and for all of you out there ♥ Let the ancient tones go right through your soul and carry away all the heaviness in your heart. All the worry. All the things that hold you back. Let it melt down, back to the earth, just like the snow in the spring. Let it become water to nurture your new beginning. The music/instrumental is "nyckelharpa" (The oldest instrument in Sweden) played by my friend and producer: Mattis Vocals/kulning by me. No matter how much I love you winter, I am so ready to let you go now. To switch the magical nightsky to the never ending daylight and midnight sun. And to switch the beautiful sound of footsteps in the snow to a thousand birds singing in the forest. Oh I can't wait to dig down my feet in the grass and feel the earth. To see the color green again...It feels like heaven. So I am leaving another beautiful winter behind me now. Even though there is still tons of snow left, I felt the warmth of the sun on my skin today, and heard the birds sing. Thats enough signs for me ❤

Just like after every summer, I always feel some kind of relief as the autumn is getting closer. It's just something in the air. Something very calming and comfortable. To finally have more time again, and be more by myself (as an introvert summers can be very hard with all the social stuff haha, anyone knows what I'm talking about 😂?) In this video I let you into the deep woods with berry picking, and I also share a new idea that I got, which has completely spellbound me.

I hope you like it! ❤🙏 #kulning #herdingcall #ancient #nordic #folkmusic #northernlights #sweden #visitsweden
