Hi, I’m Milo! All my buddies say I am the most outgoing 3 year old boy they have ever met! I'm a pit bull mix and am a gentle giant weighing 72 pounds. I have been a volunteer and staff favorite here at Wags & Walks, what with his dashing half mask, floppy ears and white-tipped tail. I'm generally a very mellow dude, but I'm working on my leash manners because I can get excited when I'm out and about! They call me a clever boy because I am eager to please and already know “sit”. I am very friendly with other large dogs; on a playdate at the shelter, I immediately tried to lick my new friends through the fence. I am a joyful guy and have lots of love to give to a new family. The people at Wags and Walks tell me that makes me really unique and special! I was brought here because my other family couldn't take care of me anymore. I'm really calm and gentle for my breed, and I love spending time relaxing in my kennel, playing with other dogs or meeting new people, including young kids! I walk well on leash, but I'm still working on my basic commands. I love treats though, which helps me learn new things quickly! What has medium to low energy, looks like a baby hippo at first glance and is a joy to be around? Sarge! A 4 year old, 59 pound Staffordshire bull terrier, but some people lovingly refer to him as a low rider. Between his unique grey and white coloring, giant head and little chubby legs, he's always getting stopped and admired. But that’s ok with him, as he is never in a rush to get anywhere; Sarge is a laid back guy that is just happy to go with the flow. He likes to relax in his crate, is crate trained, house broken, and walks well on a leash. All Sarge needs now is to find his humans that will appreciate him as much as he will appreciate them. He's a loving guy and will make a family very happy that they chose him, their low riding little hippo!
