Just geeked out with these amazing people. I’m typing this Instagram post as I’m sitting outside of Samuel L. Jackson’s room. Wait. Hold on. Be right back. So I had to stop typing because I had to walk in Jackson’s room for the interview. Now, I’m finishing this Instagram post after just geeking out with Jackson about the Marvin sequence in Pulp Fiction. I know I say this a lot but I can’t believe I have the opportunity to geek out with these amazing casts. So grateful. #spidermanfarfromhome #tomholland #zendaya #jacobbatalon ❤️🎥🎞

Happy Birthday to an amazing human being. In 2005, Chris put me on FM radio for the first time to review a Ryan Reynolds film called “Just Friends”. (I love that movie by the way). Chris has always been such an amazing person, friend and now he’s truly an amazing father and husband. Grateful for people like Chris who saw my passion for films and gave me the amazing opportunity to be live on a major radio station and show. If it wasn’t for Chris, I wouldn’t have met Tony Perkins at the radio station and I wouldn’t have had the connection to getting on television. Happy Birthday, brother. Also pictured here is Chris’ beautiful son, Sean. Sean is already a massive Star Wars fan and hasn’t even seen the films yet. ❤️🎥🎞

My beautiful Grandma Anne passed away on Saturday. Grandma Anne was called the “candy Grandma” because she would always bring us the candy dots. You know, the ones that were attached to the paper and that paper would then be in your mouth because it wouldn’t fully detach from the candy. The second photo you see is of tickets to the Robin Williams film, JACK. My brother and I went to visit my Grandma back in 1996 in Long Island, NYC. We went to see the film and then went to dinner afterwards. Admittedly, I wish I visited/called more often than I did. We all have extremely busy lives but I just wish I focused more on calling more often. Grandma, for that I am so sorry. I’m just grateful you got to meet Lauren last year and it pains me that I can’t just pick up the phone and call you right now. Oddly enough, I still have a reminder in my phone that goes off every Saturday at 1pm to call Grandma. I say this on Instagram because I hope it inspires people to pick up the phone and call/visit your family as often as you can. We are all busy but family should always come first, which is something that you slowly learn as you get older. I know all families are different and we all have different relationships. If you have a good relationship with that person in your family, call and visit as often as you can because you never know when that person will be taken from you. ❤️🎥🎞

This amazing 10-year old filmmaker just premiered his film at the historic Uptown Theatre in Washington D.C. in front of over 500 people and the film, “The Fallen”, was INCREDIBLE. Mason, who is now in remission after his battle with Leukemia, had one wish and that was to have his superhero story made into a film. Well, that happened along with a movie premiere, red carpet, an official poster and a soundtrack that includes Imagine Dragons! Mason is credited as the Executive Producer and writer. His writing, characters and ideas are all up there on the big screen. The emotional depth of this story is truly amazing - and it’s from the mind of a 10-year-old. During Mason’s time in the hospital, he started created these incredible characters for a film that would eventually become “The Fallen.” Over $1 million in donations lead to the amazing final product which was a film with incredibly layered characters, fantastic action and a great story. Over 150 people worked together to make this wish come true including studios donating their space for the filming and so much more. In true superhero film fashion, you have to stay through the ending credits for a special surprise. The movie will be made available tomorrow on YouTube and I’ll share a link to it in my profile once it’s up. The Uptown Theatre is one of the most historic theatres in the country and seeing Mason’s film projected on this massive screen was truly a remarkable experience. Thanks so much to @wishmidatlantic for asking me to moderate a Q&A after the film with the film’s director, producer and cast! ❤️🎥🎞 #masonsmoviewish - Watch my Instagram story for incredible videos of him arriving at the premiere and more.

🤘❤️ My mom literally rocks at life. My mom always took me to the best movies and concerts. What was really cool is that she would actually become a fan of the music and movies I loved and we got to enjoy everything together as a family. In 1997, my mom and dad took me to my first concert ever which was a Metallica show in Hampton, VA. The first photo you’re seeing is us at another Metallica show 20-years later! My mom would take me to the movies all the time. I remember awkwardly sitting next to my mom during “There’s Something About Mary” and “The English Patient.” Haha. But it was always just watching a film together. This weekend, we all sat around and watched Mallrats and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back! Growing up, I dealt with a lot of anxiety and bullying. My mom would stop at nothing to protect my brother and me. Every second I’ve been around my mother, there has always been a vibe that she would do absolutely anything to protect her family. That selflessness is something that I’ve strived to find in my own life. When I started dealing with anxiety and depression at a young age, my mom was right there stopping anything she was doing to get me the help I needed. When you’re younger, you don’t think about the level of commitment a mother has to their child. It’s only when you’re older and step back to think about all the time she gave to make sure my brother and I had the best lives, schools and more. I love you Mom. Thanks for always letting me be me and loving me through all the ups and downs of life. Your consistent love was such a powerful presence that I’ve slowly began to fully understand. Happy Mother’s Day. ❤️🎥🎞

😈 SPOILER ALERT. 😈 (Link in profile) Awesome sitting down with Anthony and Joe Russo to talk all things Avengers: Endgame. This is a spoiler interview so please only listen if you’ve seen the film. Sean and I asked as many questions as we could about the biggest scenes in the film. Shoutout to @therussobrothers for being such amazing filmmakers and just awesome human beings. This interview took place right last week right after the film had the largest opening worldwide box office of all time. Not only did they do our 20-minute ReelBlend podcast interview, they did a live TV on Good Day DC and an hour long Q&A that night at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. And I was honored to be asked to moderate that amazing event. If you’ve seen Endgame, you’re going to love some of these stories! There’s a story in the interview about Robert Downey Jr. that geeked us out the most. Legend. This was a surreal moment for me. I’ve spent a lot of my career talking to filmmakers about their brilliant usage of Alan Silvestri’s scores. From talking to Spielberg at “Ready Player One” about Silvestri’s brilliant career from “Fandango” to “Back to the Future”, it was surreal to stand across from him and just talk movies. I recently had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Zemeckis and geek out about Silvestri as well. Hearing Silvestri just say the names Zemeckis or Spielberg in our conversation was beyond thrilling. It didn’t feel real to me. Just talking film scores with this legend who has musically shaped my life in a huge way. And obviously his “Avengers” theme is one of his masterpieces. When you hear that epic Avengers theme (that I’m now whistling as I type this), know that this genius is the mastermind behind it. And more recently with his scores for the @therussobrothers’ “Avengers: Infinity War”, his theme for Thanos is pure brilliance. It’s haunting and just sets such a mood as Thanos delivers his thought-provoking dialogue as Silvestri’s score growls underneath him in the most sinister way. It makes you feel dirty, gross yet oddly sympathetic and understanding of his insane intentions. Almost makes you want to make a mean face. When you layer that theme with an actors’ performance, you have the audience right in the palm of your hands. I’ve always said that a film score is one of the leading emotional characters of any film. The score sets the tone for the scene and emotionally takes us on this journey where we suspend our disbelief and fall into this world created by a filmmaker and so many wonderfully talented individuals. Just being able to chat with him was one of the greatest honors of my career. We’re in the Endgame now. Some of his credits: - The Avengers - Captain America - Back to the Future - Romancing the Stone - Predator!!!!!! - The Abyss - Forrest Gump - The Long Kiss Goodnight - Ready Player One

Avengers: Endgame World Premiere! The scope of Avengers: Endgame is impossible to put into words. What Fiege & MCU achieved over last 10-years has lead to this gloriously masterful moment in cinema & it’s truly mind-blowing how beautifully paced this storytelling is. Perfectly balanced. As all things should be.

😂😂😂 Shout-out to @cinemahooked for this hilarious meme. This was the moment from my Avengers: Endgame interview with the @therussobrothers when Joe Russo told me that the Iron Man/Cap scene from the trailer “isn’t” in the final film. I had set up, very emotionally by the way, how excited I was for that scene in the trailer and then Joe Russo just completely Keyser Soze’d me. My question was about how it felt emotionally to be behind the camera filming that scene. I was hoping for a great answer about how that felt to direct that moment. And then that happened. Haha. It’s the scene when Tony says “Do you trust me?” And Cap says “I do.” I think Anthony was just as surprised as I was when Joe said that. If you watch the video (link in my profile) you’ll see Joe jokingly going back and forth that it might be in the movie. Essentially, toying with my emotions. And if I’m looking at their Instagram profile picture correctly, it looks like the Russo’s made their profile picture an image from that moment in the interview. 😂😂 #dontspoiltheendgame 4 days...We’re in the Endgame now.

🤘A photo over 20 years in the making. Full circle and completely surreal. When I was about 14 or 15, my parents took to Bay Days (I’m almost certain that’s what it was called) in Hampton, VA and I saw this incredibly heavy band, Hatebreed, performing on-stage and immediately fell in love with their sound and breakdowns. I always loved heavy music (first Korn record was one of my favorites at the time - “Ball Tongue” still hits so hard) but I hadn’t been introduced to something as hardcore as Hatebreed. After the show, I met @jameyjasta and I actually bought their album, “Satisfaction is the Death of Desire” from his car. I’ll never forget it because he had boxes with “Under the Knife” and that record. I chose to buy the Satisfaction album because it had more songs on it. I immediately became a fan. The whole band signed the cd cover for me and I’ve kept it ever since. Years later, I started following Jamey on social media and we eventually started talking about movies. If you’ve seen the film “xXx” with Vin Diesel, you’ve heard their awesome track “I Will Be Heard” in the sequence when Diesel is snowboarding. Jamey recently reached out to me and asked if I would stop by the venue when his 25th anniversary tour came to DC/Maryland and join him on his podcast to talk about movies. We had an awesome discussion about all things music, film and more. Such a great guy. One of the most interesting things we talked about was the stereotypical mindset people have about heavy metal music; especially with a band named Hatebreed where people just assume it’s all negativity because Jamey screams. It’s actually the complete opposite and many of their songs really have a positive message about overcoming obstacles in life, love and more. In fact, I’ve met some of the nicest people in the world at heavy metal shows. This was truly an honor and I had to bring the CD cover with me from over-20 years ago for this photo. 🤘

That random moment when Kathleen Kennedy joins you at the throne for a photo. Kennedy has produced some indie films. Star Wars: The Force Awakens - The Last Jedi - The Rise of Skywalker - Back To The Future trilogy - Poltergeist - Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Doom - Indiana Jones and the The Last Crusade - Gremlins - The Goonies - Money Pit - The Color Purple - Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Arachnophobia - Jurassic Park - Hook - The Sixth Sense - The Lost World - Signs - Munich - Schindler’s List - Benjamin Button - The BFG - Rogue One Just to name a few. This was such an insane story. We were at an AT&T store in Chicago to get a photo at the Game of Thrones throne. All of a sudden a guy name Caleb came over to say hi because he listens to the ReelBlend podcast I do with @jakestakes & @sean_oconnell33. So I wanted to record a video for the guys and during the video we were talking about being in Chicago for Star Wars Celebration and all of a sudden Kathleen Kennedy walks up being Caleb and says that she is also there for Star Wars Celebration! Haha. She was so nice. Talked about the new trailer and more. She was there to take a photo on the throne because the creators of GOT are doing a new Star Wars trilogy next. ❤️🎥🎞

Love this guy. Incredibly talented, passionate and just an all around awesome guy with a wonderful family. Honored to call you a friend @robliefeld. This is right before Avengers: Endgame entered our eyeballs at the world premiere on Monday. We’re in the Endgame now. #dontspoiltheendgame

. TOP: Teenage me & fake Spielberg. BOTTOM: Older me & real Spielberg. #tbt (oddly enough, I think both of these photos were taken in NYC. The wax one I think was Madame Tussauds and the real one is from an interview I did with Mr. Spielberg for “War Horse”

Happy Birthday to a very special person in my life. Allison has always been there for me and I’m just so lucky to have a friend like her in this business. A wonderful anchor, person and mother. It’s always an honor to work with Allison every morning on TV. I hope you have the best day and thanks for all your amazing positivity. The world is a better place with you in it. ❤️
