It’s hard to believe that the holidays are upon us once again. It’s been a tough year, full of division and controversy for this country and abroad. Many people are angry. Many people are sad. Homelessness is at an all time high here in Los Angeles. It’s difficult to drive around and see people literally trying to survive. If you have a few extra dollars to help, the organizers from @laoncloud9 have a link in their bio to buy supplies that will help them get important items to homeless people and their pets to make their existence a little more comfortable. Seeing so much suffering makes me want to spend as much time with my kids as possible and do things that put the gorgeous smiles on their faces that they have in these pictures. It’s so wonderful to see the love between them grow everyday and to see my eldest really stepping up to her role as big sister more and more. I think after we lost our last pregnancy, Ever is so hyper aware of how blessed we are today to be having another baby, it’s really made her grow up in the best way possible and want to help as much as she can. She’s trying so hard to prove that she will be mature enough to handle the new baby, it’s brought the little mama out in the way she treats her younger sister. I can’t tell you how precious it is because I get to see first hand the lessons we are teaching our girls bear fruit in the way they treat each other and the people around them. With care, love and respect. I’m so grateful for my amazing children. The happiness they bring is indescribable. We went ice skating together which was so fun. I treasure these moments so much. Hearing their joyful screams and laughter. Seeing them smiling so big. Appreciating. Appreciating. Appreciating. #holidayspirit #sisters

Sexy mama on the school run pose😂🤦🏻‍♀️ So here’s an update pic of my pregnancy, I’m 9 weeks away from dropping and it’s getting more and more difficult to get around, but I’m happy to say so far everything looks great with the baby and she’s coming right on schedule! I’ve gained pretty much the same amount of weight that I always gain (about 50lbs. So far 🙄) but it just goes to show that your body will do whatever it’s meant to do regardless. Saying that i haven’t been exercising during this pregnancy like I did with the last, but I’m also being super paranoid and just really careful not to do anything that could potentially put me at risk of miscarriage. Anyway, the plus side is my mama boobs are back which is fun for a girl who’s always been flat as a board, so I’m enjoying the moment while it lasts! Sending everyone lots of love mid week and I hope you’re having a good one. Just a few more days till the weekend so take a deep breath, we’ll get there!😘👊🏼👍🏼 xo m❤️

Having the most beautiful Saturday with my amazing kiddo! Sorry I haven’t been posting but I’ve been in complete social media shutdown lately. Just busy being a pregnant mommy, but I have so many great pictures I’ve taken in the interim that I need to post and share with you all. I actually got a new printer and I’ve been printing a bunch of family pics in large format and framing them, so just trying to get things done while there is still pre newborn baby peace in the house😂. This is a real hero. @gretathunberg is speaking such raw truth it hurts to listen to her. She is a true hero and if we don’t change our priorities, they’ll be no future for our children to inherit. Big business has to listen. Government has to listen. We have to listen. Or else we cannot hope to change.

I have to force myself to sit and write this. I haven’t fully processed the information yet that Peter Lindbergh is not with us anymore. There wasn’t a person more honest and sweet natured in this industry. He always had a wink and a smile for everyone around him and he was kind. So so kind. You’d be hard pressed to meet someone as vibrant and... present. Totally and completely vital. He was 100% in the moment. He appreciated his life and the people around him so much. To say he changed my life is an understatement. I met him at 13 and couldn’t believe how much love and trust I felt for him immediately. I also had such a sense of freedom and the feeling of being truly appreciated for being exactly who I was. Of course later I realized that was his magic. Making people feel so special. Making people feel... important and wonderful. It’s what made him such a brilliant artist. Because his subjects lost all inhibitions when he photographed them, they felt absolutely comfortable because he made them feel that way. And so they let him in. They allowed themselves to be totally exposed. His honesty made you want to reciprocate and be honest back. And now he’s gone. Another thing of beauty gone. And we so desperately need good people on this earth now. People who love and care for others like he did. My heart goes out to his wife and amazing kids. What a loss my goodness. What a heart ache.

HAPPY 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO MY AMAZING HUSBAND!!! Looking at who we are today compared to the kids we were when we first met... it’s so crazy to see how far we’ve come together! What a joy it’s been living life with you for so many years! What a whirlwind, what a journey, what a truly incredible and epic experience it’s been! When I look at the picture of us when we first met, I can’t believe it’s possible that I found such a special man all those years ago, one that has loved me non stop, through thick and thin, that has loved being in a relationship with me for so many years, that has adored and completely embraced the experience of having children and been by our side every minute of every day. I can’t begin to express how lucky we are to have such an amazing papa in our lives. Your love and support, your friendship, your passion, your talent and brain, you’re just unreal! The last few weeks have been heaven. Traveling through England with my family, going to places I’ve only read about in books or seen in films. From an inn where Queen Elizabeth the 1st stayed in Rye to the Royal Crescent and the Assembly Rooms in Bath, Amberley Castle and the village of Lacock where parts of Harry Potter and Downton Abbey were filmed, I’ve had enough tea and scones to make any ordinary person sick, but hey! I’m a pregnant person, so it doesn’t count right?😉🤫 We stayed in a gorgeous 15th century coaching house in Lacock where we couldn’t go through any doorway without crouching down! You can see my 6’4 husband attempting to go through the bathroom door to help our 4 year old wash her hands and it’s pretty hilarious! We both smacked our heads on the door frames multiple times during our stay, but that’s part of what made this trip so fun and exciting! It’s really hard to choose which pics I share with you all, I’ll have to post some more in the next few days when I have more time to go through them and I’ll be posting some different ones on my daughter @evergaboanderson’s page as well so check that out too. These are dark days in American history. Tourists from abroad are being warned about travel to our country because of the escalation in gun violence. Parents are being jailed with no warning leaving children abandoned. This administration will go down in infamy for all future generations. My own family came here and stayed illegally in the 80’s. My mother was a successful, Russian movie star at the top of her game and my father was a practicing doctor. They gave it all up to exist hand to mouth in America so their child could live in freedom and have opportunities that didn’t exist in Russia. They did it for me to have a better life. I imagine any parent would do the same for their children. These raids are inhumane. This is the very definition of torture. Of cruel and unusual punishment. That this is happening right now, in this day and age is a stain on our country. Knocked up again.🤫 After I found out I was pregnant 13 weeks ago, I had a mixture of feelings ranging between complete joy and utter terror. Because of my age and losing the last pregnancy I didn’t want to get attached to this potential baby too quickly. That was obviously not fun and the last few months have been my family and I living on pins and needles waiting for a slew of different test results to come in and spending most of our time in doctors offices. Thank goodness we’re in the clear AND we found out that we’ve been blessed with another girl!😆😂🥰 Anyway, wish me and my baby luck! So proud of the work @modelallianceny are doing to help models in our industry who have to deal with sexual assault in the work place. It’s about time and finally people are being educated to the problems these professionals face thanks to the efforts of The Models Alliance and people like @saraziff who are making important changes through their #respectprogram. Big corporations need to stop enabling the abuse NOW.✊🏼

This is such a low point in our country’s history. That a POTUS could make such vile and racist comments about anyone at all on a public forum defies all belief and should be unacceptable, but about other AMERICANS? It’s just unreal. Some born in the USA; while others are naturalized American citizens. Congresswomen. It’s never in history been seen that a POTUS goes so low as to pick fights with people that don’t agree with him, bully people, name call and cast racial slurs that you would hear in some drunken brawl at a bar: “go back to where you came from”. Our President should represent the BEST of America. The most noble and good. To be above petty infighting and insult slinging. What example does this give to our youth? That it’s ok to judge someone based on there race or their country of origin. It’s ok to treat them with disrespect because they are “foreigners”. I mean our president is doing it. It’s the opposite of what this country is built on and has always represented. There is not one white person living in this country who’s family is originally from here. Every single one came from abroad. Every single one.

Missouri is the latest state to jump on the “6 week abortion ban”. They join Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Iowa and many more. Though most women have no clue they are even pregnant at six weeks, these states are signing “Heartbeat Bills” that they would like to see made into law. What’s this all about? At 6 weeks, doctors can detect a “rhythm” that looks like a heart beat, but science has proven that it’s not. An embryo doesn’t have a heart at 6 weeks, it is a 3-4 millimeter group of cells with NO DEVELOPED ORGANS. Thanks to modern day ultrasound technology, doctors can catch an electrical activity-a rhythmic pulsing-of cells that are just starting to group themselves together in ways that might eventually grow into a heart. But there is no “beating heart” and no guarantee that one will develop. Miscarriages up to the 8th week of pregnancy are usually indistinguishable from a heavy period. This is the reality. Here’s another reality. These bills are being signed with NO EXCEPTIONS for RAPE, INCEST or SEXUAL TRAFFICKING. In Iowa, there’s an 11 year old child who has become pregnant after being repeatedly raped by a 26 year old man. She is one of the “women” who will be penalized by these bills for being a victim of assault. Another fact: Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey actually signed a “Heartbeat Bill” on Wednesday. Yesterday. Ironically, Alabama and many of the other states trying to get these bills passed have the HIGHEST INFANT MORTALITY RATES IN THE COUNTRY. These state’s governments show the least concern for maternal and infant health in general and are ready to put more women’s lives at an even greater risk. I want to call out to the men in this country. You have to support us and stand in solidarity with us on these issues. We can’t be the only ones fighting for these rights. Because in the end, it takes the two of us for one of us to be pregnant. You need to speak out on social media. You need to call your state governors and representatives and add your voices to ours. Fill up their mailboxes, their voicemails and their social media pages in protest to these heartless and ignorant attacks on our reproductive freedom. These are historic times. Let’s make history.

I don’t like to get political and I try to only do it if a really have to and this is one of those times. If someone doesn’t want to continue reading, you have been warned. Our rights as women to obtain safe abortions by experienced doctors are again at stake. Last Tuesday, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a draconian bill into law that outlaws all abortions after six weeks — before most women even realize they’re pregnant — including in cases of RAPE OR INCEST. This makes Georgia the sixth state to pass such a restrictive six-week abortion ban, joining Ohio, Mississippi, Kentucky, Iowa, and North Dakota. These laws haven’t been passed yet, but lawmakers in these states are trying. Abortion is hard enough for women on an emotional level without having to go through it in potentially unsafe and unsanitary conditions. I myself went through an emergency abortion 2 years ago. I was 4 1/2 months pregnant and shooting on location in Eastern Europe. I went into pre term labor and told that I had to be awake for the whole procedure. It was one of the most horrific experiences I have ever gone through. I still have nightmares about it. I was alone and helpless. When I think about the fact that women might have to face abortions in even worse conditions than I did because of new laws, my stomach turns. I spiraled into one of the worst depressions of my life and had to work extremely hard to find my way out. I took time off of my career. I isolated myself for months and had to keep a strong face for my two amazing kids. I started gardening, eating healthier and going to the gym everyday because I didn’t want to jump into taking anti depressants unless I had tried every other alternative. Thank God I was able to find my way out of that personal hell without turning to medication, but the memory of what I went through and what I lost will be with me till the day I die. Abortion is a nightmare at its best. No woman wants to go through that. But we have to fight to make sure our rights are preserved to obtain a safe one if we need to. I never wanted to speak about this experience. But I cannot remain silent when so much is at stake. #prochoice #prochoicegeneration

Today, May 9 is WW2 Victory Day and I would like to honor my grandmother Tatiana Ivanovna, may she Rest In Peace, who at 16 years of age, joined the army as a nurse and made it all the way to Berlin. She saved lives and barely escaped with her own, hiding under dead bodies at times to survive. This little girl went through such a hard life seeing death every day. She then came back and started her life all over from nothing, raising two kids as a single parent. I will always remember how amazing she was. I was lucky enough to be with her in the months before she passed, taking her for walks in her wheelchair everyday and talking with her about her life. Those moments are so precious to me. I love you Babushka! We miss you so much!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 С Днём Победы!!!🌟🌟🌟

It’s always stressful on opening weekend and @hellboymovie is no different. You work super hard to make something fun and entertaining and have to absorb the negative reviews by movie critics, but hey! THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY.😎 All I’m gonna say before going to bed is this: All my raddest films have been slammed by critics. It’s fucking hilarious. Dazed and Confused? Seriously? Classic movie. The Fifth Element! You would have thought that was the worst movie ever made if you read the reviews in like ‘98😂. Zoolander? Slammed. Joan of Arc? Disaster. Resident Evil? Let’s not even go there. Anyway, every one of those films is now a cult classic. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. And this will be too. Mark my words. Why? 1. Because of the amazing actors. David Harbour. Ian Mcshane. Daniel Dae Kim. Sasha Lane. They are all so damn wonderful and talented, the movie is worth seeing just because they’re in it, especially one that’s so much fun to experience as this is. 2. @mikemignola who created the #Hellboy comics helped write the script and was on set every single day to make this film as close to his vision as possible. 3. It was directed by one of the greats. #NeilMarshall who brought us “The Descent”. One of the greatest horror movies ever. Trust me, you’re gonna have a blast watching the new @hellboymovie. I mean, one critic said “it’s a loud, gory mess only a teenager would love.”😂👍🏼👊🏼HELL yea Hellboy! Let’s have some fun! And with that, I wish you all a good night! Xo m😘

Well I’m officially the best mom ever according to my daughter and her friend!😉 They are the biggest Billie Eilish fans and I took them to her record release party!🥳 We saw my friend @rolaofficial who was in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter with me and the girls met Billie who was so sweet with them and made them feel so special! Check the last pic where the girls are holding artwork they made for Billy to sign for them. I’m so proud of how creative they are🤗 #ladiary

You know what’s one of the best things about my job? Traveling to insanely amazing places that I would probably never go to and meeting wonderful, new people! I made a movie in China last year that’s coming out this summer over there and met Laney @coaammmaa, she’s a Chinese photographer who is such a lovely human and Laney came to LA with her bf @jellylinyun who’s a gorgeous, young Chinese actress and the girls came to my home for lunch and met my kids and experienced a little bit of Los Angeles family style! It’s so incredible knowing I have friends from far away places that will visit and also open their own homes to me when I go to their countries so I can feel like a local too! In the last pic, my daughter Ever made a beautiful card for them and wrote it in Chinese! She also learned to say a few Chinese phrases to make them feel more welcome. So proud of my baby.😆🥳 #ladiary

You like my hair? Gee thanks. Just bought it.😂 Thanks to my girl @stizzyho for the cut and style, @therealseanmetcalfe for my awesome color and @taniawhittier for my @puraluxe treatment!
