I wanted, this day, to be in nature. To feel the touch of Mother Earth and feel bathed in her spirit. My husband @mikehope__ and I spent the day hiking for hours into and out of a deep ravine, where below were natural hot springs bubbling up into pools, all around. And it was, truly the most magical experience. As well as the most magical birthday. To feel so at ease and to hear nothing but the beauty of nature and the silent peace she provides was astounding. I vow to continue to make these moments and such adventure the priority in my life. I believe this to be true. ✨ So many times I pushed back and hid from my experiences, pretending they never happened. I was ashamed and felt I needed to always be someone else, with a clean slate of a past. But, as I’ve grown older, I see that we all come from the same place and this mentality, nor “perfection”, doesn’t exist. I firmly believe we go through the things we go through to share and give back to others. This incredible woman!!! ✨ First, I heard of these beautiful candlelit classical performances through my gf @coldcherrysoup. Then, I see there was one coming up including the magnificent works of my all-time fave composer #FrederykChopin and I was in! Truly one the most memorable experiences and this angel, @klaudia.pianist, was the pianist that night. I reached out to her later that night expressing how absolutely magical the night was with her exceptional talent and performance, and it all led to this! She was gracious enough to extend another invite to @mikehope__ and I last night, and it was even more beautiful knowing that I knew her now and was able to be there to support. This woman SHINES! And her talent leaves me absolutely breathless! Chopin’s music, and truly the instrument of the piano, saved my life so many times by helping it find meaning. I always wished I could play like Klaudia and it feels like a dream to listen to her. Her passion, her delicacy, her insight to each piece is impeccable.
