Why is there so much hate in the world...? If this is the way to celebrate Easter Sunday, I don’t know where we are... #prayforsrilanka 🙏🏼🖤💔😔 “But to you who are listening i say: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”- Luke 6:27 Love for Enemies, The Bible

One of the many reasons I love life and our Planet so much is for its spectacular natural wonders of the world. And “桜" "Sakura" is one of them 🌸 💕 The oldest Sakura tree is 2000 years and there are more than 600 species of Sakura in Japan. It’s lifespan is only about a week which makes it not just one of the most beautiful flowers, but very rare and unique.

So Is the rainbow a miracle? 🌈 Yes, according to the Bible. It is a complex design that scientists today still don't know 100% how it all works since it is a combination of atmospheric physics and human brain physiology. Thus the rainbow is there, but it really isn't. It has no real substance, but is trick of light which our designed sensors pick up and manufacture in our brain as the wonderous rainbow. 📷 credit: @helloemilie

On Sundays we do different things with my family, we plant a Tree 🌳 , recycle ♻️ or clean the beach 🏝 depending on where we are in the world. If you ask my 4 years old who she wants to be when she grows up, she says “I want to save the world”. Sometimes I think these little people came to our Planet to really save it. And the more time I spend with them, the brighter future I see.

To whom it may concern...: People come into your path for a REASON, a SEASON or a LIFETIME. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do with that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty… To provide you with guidance and support… To aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually… They may seem like they are a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die… Sometimes they walk away… Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand…. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled… Their work is done. The prayer you sent up has now been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON. Because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season. LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons. Things you must build upon to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind, but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life… Whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime –Unknown author

More EXCITING news on PLASTIC BAN: 560 lawmakers from the European parliament voted overwhelmingly to ban single-use plastic items by 2021, in a bid to tackle marine litter and encourage sustainable alternatives. Additionally European Union member countries will also have to achieve a 90% collection target for plastic bottles by 2029. ⠀ According to statistics more than 80% of marine litter is plastic and only less than 30% of the 25 million tonnes of plastic generated yearly by E.U. countries is recycled.

GEOENGINEERING to save the Planet: The controversial Plan B that could become inevitable. Thoughts? Researchers from Harvard university are trying to replicate the conditions of the stratosphere, to temporally cool the planet by spraying clouds of sulphur dioxide particles into the sky. Harvard’s Gernot Wagner Developed a new type of plane that will fly more than 4,000 missions a year dumping particulates into the stratosphere. It is known as a radical and potentially benefiting form of geoengineering - a large scale intervention in the Earth’s natural systems with the main aim of temporally reducing the affects of climate change. Such process already occurred naturally when in 1991 Mount Pinatubo erupted and spewed millions of tons of sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere, cooling the planet by 0.5°C for more than a year. Geoengineering is gaining global traction. Last fall, the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a report saying geoengineering could be used as an emergency “temporary remedial measure.” To be sure, some scientists warn geoengineering will have unintended consequences. MIT’s Daniel Cziczo, an atmospheric scientist, warns that geoengineering could destroy the ozone layer. Without the ozone layer, photosynthesis would be difficult, the food chain would be destroyed, and life on Earth would perish. In this case, unintended consequences would be apocalyptic.

🦢 “When I was a small child, I thought that success spelled happiness. I was wrong, happiness is like a butterfly which appears and delights us for one brief moment, but soon flits away.”-Anna Pavlova, known for ‘The Dying Swan’, was the maverick Russian prima ballerina who took the world by storm with her enchanting demeanor and graceful movements and was dancing for more than 40 years. 🖤🇷🇺 Pavlova is most recognised for dancing the role of The Dying Swan. She danced this short ballet (only four minutes) about 4000 times, covering tours in America, South America, Bahia, Japan, China, India, Burma, Egypt, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Britain - and all these in the pre-air-travel age. In the early 20th century, with her own company, Pavlova became the first ballerina to tour ballet around the world. Anna danced until her last breath, at the age of 49 she died of pneumonia. Her last words were, "Get my 'Swan' costume ready."

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: “To regret the past, to hope in the future, and never to be satisfied with the present: that is what I spend my whole life doing...” The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and The Sleeping Beauty, Tchaikovsky wrote and composed my favourite ballets. Now very well recognised all over the world, Tchaikovsky was not always successful in his musical career. His teachers thought he had no talent, critics for a long time felt that his music was distasteful. Tchaikovsky’s masterpieces only gained recognition after his death, becoming some of the world’s most popular ballets. Tchaikovsky epitomizes not only the Russian spirit but also the human spirit, and has been a constant source of inspiration. Forever love to Pyotr Ilyich 🖤 🇷🇺 #Tchaikovsky #T

Happy Birthday to the Legend, the first human in space 👨🏻‍🚀🌎🌍🌏🌚🌕🌝🚀🛰Yuri Gagarin 🇷🇺. Almost 58 years ago, on April 12, 1961, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin went to space. The rocket carrying Gagarin's Vostok 1 spacecraft launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome at 6:07 a.m. local time. Reaching unprecedented speeds for manned travel, the spacecraft broke free of the Earth's gravitational pull and entered orbit around the planet, circling once before re-entering the atmosphere and landing back on Soviet soil. Two days before his flight, Yuri Gagarin wrote a farewell letter to his wife and daughters in case of an accident. His wife, Valentina received this letter 7 years later, when her husband died in a plane crash in 1968. You never know when is your last day...

112 years ago, one of the world’s greatest authors rejected the Nobel Prize. Lev Tolstoy, author of War and Peace, Anna Karenina, and so much more. The only nominee to have asked discreetly for the removal of his name, and to refuse the prize of $100,000. Some years later, when the public was outraged that Tolstoy was not nominated, he wrote: “First, it has saved me the predicament of managing so much money, because such money, in my opinion, only brings evil. Secondly, I felt very honoured to receive such sympathy from people I have not even met.” Born in Siberia, I was growing up with Russian literature, science and art. And these are my meditation today. Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina/War and Peace, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Yuri Gagarin’s journey into outer space, and me with my head in the stars, endlessly dreaming... As Tolstoy says about dreams, “We should show life neither as it is or as it ought to be, but only as we see it in our dreams”. #LevTolstoy #ЛевТолстой 🖤🇷🇺

I remember our first meeting over 10 years ago, back in 2008, when Karl first came to Moscow. I was a journalist at the very beginning of my path, and it was an honor to interview the Legend. I remember this particular meeting especially well, because I learned more about the history of the country I was born in than I thought I knew, from a man who had never been to Russia before. The world lost possibly one of the most intelligent, knowledgeable, iconic and creative people of our generation. This is the end of an era. Rest In Peace, Karl. The world will miss you. 🖤

Ведь он любит не только свою стрелу, что летит, но и свой лук, хотя он и неподвижен».
