Who told you this walk with Christ would be simple? Who mentioned it would be without pain or persecution? Not Jesus. He said it would be hard, He said pain would be part and parcel and persecution would come to those who freely speak of His name. So What kind of God would speak of such things to convince people to follow him? The answer? A God who only spoke the truth. A God who does not deceive or speak of how great a deceiver He can be. But rather A God who truly cared for His sheep and wanted to prepare them to once again find the narrow path and remain on it knowing it would lead them back to Him. The world needs compassion desperately but those of the world will try and destroy compassionate people, bringing their evil ways on them. Hoping you, like them, would develop hardened hearts. So why walk this path to Christ? Because right now you can’t find peace, not with your friends, not with your partner, not with your family and not with yourself. And no matter how many social media posts you put up, it won’t hide that darkness that lingers. Who could possibly bring light to that darkness, who could possibly bring peace to our brokenness? The answer - The Prince of Peace. The light of the world - Jesus the messiah. But to find peace you must find him. To find him I guess your gonna have to follow. Follow long enough to know his voice.

Jesus said this; This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. There have Been four Previous covenants made by God; 1. Noahic covenant 2. Abrahamic covenant 3. Mosaic covenant 4. Davidic covenant And finally this covenant made by Jesus 5. The Messianic (new) covenant Every covenant has the follow items; Parties, promises, conditions, penalties, periods, & a Purpose. We remember this Passover meal that Jesus shared with His disciples, knowing that He would not do it again UNTIL the kingdom of God has Come. (Luke 22:16) Here is my take on The New covenant 1. Parties Jesus & All nations (the invitation is for All, God shows no partiality) Acts 10:34 2. Promises Offering Peace in our brokenness, The kingdom of God removing the corrupted kingdoms of this world, the eventual Return of Jesus our king, Eternal life for Those who believed in him and followed his commandments. 3. Conditions To believe in the ONE whom the Father has sent (The Son) To Love the Lord with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind, To love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37) 4. Penalties There will be A separation between those who choose to believe and those who choose to reject. (Matthew 25:31-41) 5. Period - Before death claims your flesh or before Jesus returns in all His glory. 6. Purpose - A new heaven, a new Earth with a new people born in the spirit of God. The Removal of Evil. Jesus said behold, I am coming soon. Revelation 22:7 Amén.

. Believing in the empty tomb. The resurrection is paramount to the Christian belief. Our future enemy that no man can avoid “death”, it has finally lost its victory, finally lost its sting on this broken battlefield. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22 We are born into death from man’s first failure and yet made alive in Christ who lived a righteous life on our behalf. There is a clear purpose as to why a part of God (His word) would become flesh to fulfill what the scriptures had always pointed to. God is making all things good. This requires the removal of human evil. Something we can all agree upon. Jesus’ body was raised from the dead on the first day of the Jewish work week (Sunday) God has Gone back to work! Here is what’s interesting, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and he finished with man on the 6th day. Now God is starting with a new “Man” the “son of Man”. The first fruits being Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:20) and now God will finish with creating a new heaven and a new earth as the book of revelation reveals. (Revelation 21:1-8) Everything will come full circle, you begin to see that everything started with Christ and everything will be completed with Christ. The alpha and the omega. (Revelation 21:6) We are in the middle of God’s story! Celebrate the empty tomb. The Bible is a complicated book, there is no doubt about that... but everything makes sense for those who are willing to seek and dig into its truths. Blessed to see His face.

A follower of the way. It’s not rituals we are after, it’s not traditions we crave. It’s not comfort or culture we seek. We want to walk with Christ. Not to take him with us on our path but to Go with him on His journey. When Jesus said “follow me”, we are the few that followed. We don’t wish to just meet with him on Sunday afternoon’s or pray in times of need, we don’t just wish to quietly discuss His truths when the company around us is appropriate, and we don’t try to downgrade His divinity to please others. We walk with Christ daily, deliberately dedicating ourselves to the kingdom of God. We want our lives to be a reflection of who He is. We want His light to be the front and center of all that we attempt to do, we want his counsel constantly, & we want His truth to be on the edge of our lips in every single conversation we may have. Do we seek to please the world? No, Surely not, we will be hated by the world, told to tone it down, told to tone it back and constantly be reminded that everything is much better in moderation, Luke warmer’s please everyone. But it is Our God who sees all things, knows all things and commands all things for His will and purpose. And in that belief we wholeheartedly trust the giver of life, the creator of life - Jesus the Messiah This is a follower of the way. @thejesustrek Photo credit: @eholmquist (you got the shot)

From the book of Hosea - “The Holy One among you. I will not come against their cities. They will follow the Lord; he will roar like a lion” Is this the lion of Judah? The Holy one who is separate from mankind and his creation, yet at the same time is among them and in the midst of both men & women? Would God himself Kneel down to feed His sheep? Would God himself shepherd His sheep from false prophets and idol worship? The place where Jesus rose from the dead is all the evidence I need to believe that My God did just that. Life is found in Jesus. The Life & The resurrection

Before commenting on this picture, be reminded that any form of Hate will blind you. Read the caption first. Old Testament - When Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, Are you for us or for our enemies? Neither, replied the Commander of the army of the Lord. ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭5:13-15‬ New Testament - Someone came to Jesus and told him, Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you. Jesus replied to him, Who is my mother, and who are my brothers? Pointing to his disciples, he said, Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. Matthew‬ ‭12:47-50‬ So if I was asked the question, Who am I for in this land? My answer is simple, I am for those who actively pursuing the will of God in an effort to bring heaven & His kingdom back to this fallen world. 1) Those who are willing to glorify the Father and the one whom He sent - Jesus. 2) Those who are willing to love one’s neighbor, even if that neighbor is also one’s enemy

The original plan was to come up here alone. But you Father, had other plans. And your plans are always greater then that of my own. I Shared this sunset with a young Nigeria man named Nelson who is on His way to becoming a priest. He has a heart for you Lord, and His infectious joy for you is going to break down barriers and walls that people have previously put up around their hearts. What an encouragement it was to pray on this mount with Nelson as we both desire to move closer and closer to you. All my praise! Your kingdom come, your will be done. @taggedbyjesus

What made Jesus so radical during His day? one could say It was His radical approach to Brotherly Love. Oh yea, He also clearly claimed to be God in a very humble way. Jesus had more humanity than any other Human, while at the same time Jesus was more Humble then any other idea of any other God. Love (in His compassion) & Humility (in His truth)

How many everything’s do you seek? & How many everything’s can you truly have?
Nathaniel Buzolic
Had the privilege of Meeting Rev. Bernt in Jerusalem a few days ago. He first came to the Holy land around the same time I was born. Wow, what a great and encouraging conversation we had as we walked and talked and discussed the scriptures. The same scriptures that have become a center piece of both our lives. The very scriptures that reveal Christ to a world who is seeking to answer the question - Who is God? The doors my Lord opens, are the gateways to truly seeing His heart revealed.
Nathaniel Buzolic
God speaks through Jeremiah to a faithless israel. And this is what God said to the northern kingdom which had been divided from the southern kingdom of judah. Return, faithless Israel, declares the Lord. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the Lord; I will not be angry forever. Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the Lord your God and scattered your favors among foreigners under every green tree, and that you have not obeyed my voice, declares the Lord. ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭3:12-13‬ Now look at what Jesus said at the beginning of His ministry. Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:17‬ Repent means to change your mind/way of what you thought was right and with your will power turn around and go the other direction. The direction that points you back towards God and his truth. God is calling us back, to OBEY His Voice, His commandments. A clear point to conditions of this relationship. The first step is to Admit our guilt, that our own way is not His way & Our own way is in fact the wrong way. The second step is to walk back into God’s light, to walk back into the way Of the Lord, which can only be discovered by knowing His voice. His voice comes through His word. Is this bad news? No it’s great news, God is calling as back home and all we need to do is humble ourselves and our path back to him. The world won’t change until we begin to understand Jesus. Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, Hindu and so on and so on @thejesustrek

Teaching on the mount of beatitudes. What a honor it was to share, discuss and explain the characteristics of a True follower of Christ. We all left something on that hilltop, the broken pieces we no longer needed to remain in our lives. We left with a greater understanding of Jesus and a greater understanding of a true disciple. Blessed are...

There is nothing comfortable about the message of the cross, and those who believe it’s truth must start to believe we will be led by Christ into uncomfortable conversations and uncomfortable situations in our life. Where can you find this uncomfortable truth??? The Bible. We are not called to be peace keepers. We are called to be peace MAKERS. Called to Reconcile people with the one true God found in Jesus. This is what Jesus said. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10:38-39‬ True Christians it’s Time to get uncomfortable for christ.

Today I circled the Dome of the rock 3 times, each time reflecting on the God I have chosen to follow. I walked alone slowly and quietly. As I walked around it’s walls for a 3rd time I was grabbed from behind and told not to do what I was doing by a Muslim guard. “Don’t even try and pray while you are here on the Temple Mount.” Don’t even try and have a “quiet” conversation with “your” God is essentially what I was warned of doing in that moment. Shortly after that a young Muslim boy approached me with his backpack & his smart phone in hand (clearly trying to film me) He nervously asked me questions. When I asked him why he was filming our conversation he quickly scurried off, After getting a photo of my face, I was happy to give it to him. After that I was approached by Jordanian guards and accused 3 times of being an Israeli spy 🤷🏼‍♂️ if I was a spy, I’m clearly not very good at my job. I was with a group of other Christians who all got to witness these events unfold. Just So you know - Christians are not permitted to pray on the Temple Mount, or even reflect on God quietly as I found out today. we are not permitted to bring any religious books like bibles with us even if they remain in our backpacks the entire time. Here are my two questions to islam from this experience, and those who are controlling the Temple Mount. 1. If we believe in the same God as many Muslims often try and tell me, then why am I not permitted to pray to “our” God on this mountain top? 2. Why are you so fearful of Christian prayers? What scares you about Christians praying or even reflecting on God here in this place, what scares you about a young christian like myself walking around the Dome of the Rock 3 times? If in fact we are “Wrong” about Jesus being the embodiment of God in the flesh then we would have no power or authority and you should have nothing to fear or worry about from us or the Book that speak of jesus’ truth. I am still so joyful. And I only wish you could share the joy that I have found in Christ. From many comments I have seen posted, I suppose I’m not permitted to ask the question either, as to why prayer is forbidden?

What a journey this trek has been, today myself and @rtantoun had the privilege to Baptize people in the same river where Jesus was baptized. This is Where the fullness of God and His Glory was revealed. Father, Son and Holy spirit. Praise be to God who makes us new. That we die to ourselves and a born in both water & spirit. Let us be a people who do not need to know what we need to become but rather a people who know what we need to do! Follow in faith, live with Love. Thank you Jesus for talking a kid like me who struggled to know who you really are to a man after your own heart. @thejesustrek @taggedbyjesus

A lesson I learnt along a dusty road with My God. He is Good, He is so Good. He did not create evil, nor did he desire Evil. However if we choose Evil over Good, my God remains in control to ensure the fulfillment of His will and purpose. I believe Evil is in the hands of those whom God gives free will. God created free will, Man created evil. Just as God created the tree, and man created the table from the wood that came from the tree. How do I know this to be true? If every single Angel or Man did as the father instructed from the beginning evil would not exist. Evil only exists because we did not listen to the voice of reason, the voice of truth. I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. 'Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 'Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you make it known to me.' I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you; therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes. ‭‭Job‬ ‭42:2-6‬

. This morning... this day! May the Spirit of the Lord rest on those who believe! It is Here Jesus, where you promised your first disciples and us of the coming of the Holy Spirit. The spirit of God that could dwell in the hearts of people and give them power, and knowledge and understanding to boldly share the truth of who you really are to a broken world. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-31‬ Amen! We are in this together my brothers and sisters x @taggedbyjesus

This is the traditional burial site of Jesus inside the Holy Sepulchre church. Before his Crucifixion Jesus said this to his disciples. Those who had followed him closest for 3 years. Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my fathers house are many rooms. If It were not so, would I have told you that I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going. If this is where my King was buried & rose again, Then Please know that my King said He would return. His instructions were simple - Believe He is God, & follow his commandments. Those that do this will be those that love him most. Those that love him most are those who believed him most. #oldcityjerusalem

Happy Mother’s Day! My Heavenly Father knew my earthly father would suck. So He gifted me with an amazing strong and kind earthly mother. Raising two boys alone, no family, no support, but she did it and stopped at nothing to make sure we had a fighting chance at life. Praise God. For his ways are not our ways and his eyes are on those who call on him. Love you mama

. What you believe is important, sure, but more importantly to that is how much do you really believe that belief. The depth of your believe in any theology, idea or principle will be indicated in how you choose to live your life, what you choose to say, and in which direction you desire to grow. Aman - is the Hebrew word for believe. It’s Mentioned some 110 times in the Old Testament. It however also relates to an idea of driving a peg into the ground. These pegs will be what holds a tent firmly in place. So if and when the wind comes it won’t collapse. So I guess the question presents it self when relating belief to the idea of this word Aman. How deep does your belief go? How firm is the belief you hold onto? Look at your Thoughts, words, actions, & convictions, And you will find your answer.

. The God of the Bible was literal when He said I MYSELF will search for MY sheep and look after them - Ezekiel 34:11 (592-570BC) Jesus was literal when He said whoever has seen ME has seen the FATHER - John 14:9 (33AD) Jesus is the expressed image of God himself in human skin. To see Him is to see God, to Hear Him is to hear God and to Reject Him is to reject God. (Today) He is preparing a place for those who truly believe in Him & call on His name. John 14:3 This is the glory that awaits. Temporary affliction, Eternal Glory.
