I know LA has now joined the “lockdown list” but I want to call it what it actually is “the Safe at Home act.” It’s been interesting witnessing people’s responses to it. We’ve all heard of fist fights over toilet paper and seen long lines at Grocery stores that wrap around the block. But honestly for the most part what I’m witnessing is families being families again. I see parents strolling with their teenage kids, dads at the beach with their toddlers and couples biking along the path in contemplation rather than merely power pedaling for exercise. Overall I have found people to be more compassionate, more willing to help, more thoughtful. Rather than putting their heads down as if no one else is there, they look me in the eye and smile a smile of “Man this shite is a Little crazy right?” The truth is we’re all going through it. In our own unique ways with our own unique circumstances and challenges but we’re ALL going through it. The difference isn’t in the number of toilet paper rolls we managed to snag before others got their hands on them. The only real difference is in how we choose to experience these extraordinary times by choosing where we place our awareness, our attention. For me, I choose to witness it all, good, bad and ugly, but place and hold my awareness and attention on the beauty that is springing forth, for that’s how transformation takes place. @drjoedispenza Joe Dispenza says “Where your focus goes, energy flows.” I want my energy to be flowing toward the kind of world I want to be living in, a world of compassion, cooperation and sustainability. I don’t want things to return to “normal” because our accepting war and ‘owning the market’ and driving 2 hours to work as “normal” is what got us here to begin with. I’m committed to meeting each moment with a heart of love, gratitude, compassion kindness and passion! and in doing so, adding my Light to the sum of all that is and breathing in the light of others all around the globe. You are an amazing being of light and LOVE. Claiming it. And be the change.

Leaving Bali... Early. (But not in Baby Balinese style:) Headed back to the states while travel is still relatively easy. The evolution of the #coronaVirus is affecting so many things. This could be what the ancients knew: this is the time for the system to balance itself out. This virus is the great equalizer: it doesn’t recognize #money or #power or country of origin or color of skin or #religion. All it recognizes is that you breathe. It shows us how much we are all the same. And the way it is traveling around the world so fast, Impacting global trade and economy, it teaches us how intertwined we all are, how interdependent we are, how much in communion we are with each other, how cutting off your brother is like cutting off your own foot. It’s offering us the opportunity to accept these truths and create a system that is sustainable because it’s built on cooperation rather than competition. And it’s showing us that in the end, the most powerful thing we have is our frequency: love or fear. It’s powerful. How do we wish to experience this? We must choose in each moment.
