This is what I love about aligning with Spirit: going where you feel the love, leaning into the light. His writing and essence has been calling more and more to me over the past couple of years, even in dreams, so much that I felt drawn to be a part of a @loveserveremember retreat in Ojai this year. It was Halloween and Ram Dass appeared wearing a rabbit mask and when questioned about it he reminded us “Every day is Halloween.” These bodies we wear only temporarily, but our Soul, Oneness, the God Source is eternal and infinite. We sat in meditation with him and the mantra he chanted with/for us all was “I am Loving Awareness” which I invite you to practice yourself this week. Towed this absolutely adorable @airstream.nest to a beach campsite to get some outdoor time with my boys and my people. Too often this time of year can become all about the “doing,” so I find it becomes extra important to take time for the “being.” Being in nature, being with family, being present while you’re driving or working or shopping. That’s a gift we can give to ourselves every single day, not just of the holiday season, but year round. And we’re simultaneously gifting the people around us, because when we’re conscious, we’re not projecting our stress and overwhelm our into the world and onto the people we’re interacting with. We can show up as a fully present version of ourselves: open, compassionate, available for connection. 🍁💀✨October✨💀🍁 The fall makes me want to turn inward, to take the time to sit with myself and my emotions, thoughts, desires. Maybe it’s part of having a birthday and name that jumpstart the season... I’ve been focused on a massive “shedding,” if you will, removing everything from my home that isn’t working, or that isn’t currently being used or that won’t be used within the year. It feels amazing. I feel like a tree shedding its leaves, my structure of sturdy bare branches becoming more visible by the day. I love this season because it wants us to go deep, encourages us to see and be seen, the truth of our branches beginning to be laid bare against the sky. Anyway. If you don’t see me on here often, you can assume it’s because I’m happily storing acorns, digging my den, preparing my blazing autumn heart for the soon-to-be quiet of winter. 🍁 ♥️💋

🏔 Climbing Mt. Eddy 🏔 I love that this entire beautiful 9,025-ft tall mountain was named after Olive Eddy, the first woman to climb Mt. Shasta :) It was a stunning hike!

I’ve returned from the wilderness. The hike was glorious. The weather was perfect. The people were kind and funny and inspiring. We climbed Mt. Eddy and backpacked 20+ miles on the PCT with everything we needed on our backs.
