Our Australian adventure honeymoon is still the best holiday I’ve ever been on. We sailed around the Whitsundays on a catamaran just the two of us, woke up on Whitehaven beach, got in our dingy and went up the swirling water of Hill Inlet, before making our way to Uluru. We walked around the most breathtaking rock formations, learned and listened from the Aboriginal elders and slept under the stars. There is so much more of Australia that I can’t wait to visit, to take my family to, and to make more beautiful memories with. When the ash settles our holidays will be here, supporting our local tourism that needs our help. Next on my wish list is Kangaroo Island which has been hit hard by the fires. One of the first things I decided on when starting the process of designing our bathrooms was a floating inset sink. Easy to find? Nope. I’m notoriously private with sharing my personal relationships online, but l love this #TiffanyFragrance #LoveYourWay campaign and creating memories through physical photos rather than an endless digital photo scroll on my phone. The beauty of a polaroid is the in-the-moment element. We didn’t always nail it, and ended up in crying laughter from accidentally pressing the button when we weren’t ready. One of my main skin concerns is hyperpigmentation. For me, the red marks left after a breakout last months on end, are bright or dark red, and are even more noticeable than the breakout in the first place, and occur even if i’ve followed the holy grail of breakout rules and left the breakout alone. They’ve taught me patience, and to be kind to my skin. I’m thankful that they’re not an actual scar but at the same time, would love to be able to fast track their fading time. I had an amazing pregnancy safe facial with @dermalogicaaus the other week where they had a nice close up look at my skin, and recommended their Redness Relief Essence as a first step after cleansing morning and night. If I can take the redness out, that's half the battle! Nothing happens overnight, but am enjoying incorporating this into my daily routine. #collab -

When a sink excites you, welcome to adulthood. But seriously, sourcing a white concrete vanity, matching matte white waste plugs, matte black tapeware and holding my breath that our limestone stucco doesn’t crack, has been my life for the last few months and I’ve loved it (apart from the never ending tradie mornings, dust and having to shower in our laundry... which is outside 🙈). This is all that’s complete so far but we’re getting sooooo close. Why do pregnancy and renovations always go hand in hand? 🤷🏽♀️ -

Feeling so relaxed after this mini break. So glad we escaped up north to take a moment just to ourselves before our little buddy arrives later in the year. @_halcyonhouse was a dream, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. This picture perfect blue sky is breaking up the beige feed, but it’s worth it right? Escaping to northern nsw for our babymoon weekend thanks to the team at @_halcyonhouse which has been on my list of places to visit for a while. Tucked in between the Gold Coast and Byron, it’s an area that I actually don’t know much about even though I grew up in Brisbane. It reminds me of my childhood holidays to the Gold Coast where there is no one on the beach and it feels like it’s just the locals.
