The last few days of my recent Australia trip were very emotional for me because while I got to meet with so many incredible charities and wildlife rescuers, I also met too many traumatized orphaned animals that have lost their families and homes in the recent fires in Australia. Over 46 million acres have burnt in Australia in the last few weeks and an estimated 1+ billion animals died, with millions more that are badly wounded and just trying to survive the next few days/weeks. Even though the fires are out and many animals like this baby kangaroo are getting help, too many animals are not getting the help they so desperately need right now and instead are unnecessarily dying due to their wounds getting infected or due to starvation since all their food sources/habitats burnt in the fires. We at @karmagawa will be releasing some very sad-but-important-to-watch videos the next few days and we need your help in getting the word out as despite all the $ raised for charity for this crisis (we at Karmagawa raised $102,000), countless hardworking wildlife sanctuaries like here at Badgerys Creek Wildlife Sanctuary are NOT getting the $ or help they need to save these animals in time so we must work together to apply maximum social media pressure to help solve this problem as every day counts and this is a matter of life and death! Stay tuned for all the details coming soon, please be ready to share these eye-opening videos with your followers as we MUST get the word out ASAP before any more animals needlessly suffer and die! #savethekangaroos #helpanimals #karamgawa

Repost from @karmagawa Animal pranks like this are NOT okay and IT’S FUCKEN PATHETIC how many people are actually defending this prank on an endangered species like monk seals...there’s only 1,100 left in the wild and ANY human disturbance can have serious side affects on their population...uhhhh so much work to do to educate so many people out there! ⚠️ WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT ⚠️ Please share this sad video of a sleeping monk seal being slapped as a prank in Hawaii — we must work together to stop disgusting acts like this and end animal pranks like this once and for all! Animals are living creatures and we humans treat far too many of them terribly — they are NOT here for our entertainment and this poor seal doesn’t deserve to be slapped like this so we must spread awareness that animal pranks like this will not be tolerated in the future, and anyone who abuses any animals will go to jail! Monk seals are protected by law and harassing a monk seal is a class C felony punishable by time behind bars and fines so please share this video with your Instagram followers, email it, text it, WhatsApp it, Tweet it…send it to EVERYONE you know and tell them to share it too as seemingly “funny” pranks like this are actually very cruel and punishable with jail time! WE MUST DO BETTER and make this a healthier planet for humans and animals alike. So, please share this video with your followers and tag people, celebrities, and influencers who need to see it and let’s all get the word out to end animal pranks like this RIGHT NOW! #endanimalabuse #endanimalcruelty #karmagawa

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’d like to introduce you to someone I just met, but she’s already become very important to me in several ways — this baby wombat named Lucy! Lucy may be tiny, but her personality is much bigger than her small stature and despite losing her entire family and getting burnt badly herself in the recent fires here in Australia, her attitude on life is inspiring as she’s still so incredibly positive, which is something many more people can learn during this tough start to 2020. I’m traveling all over Australia with @karmagawa for the next few days as we meet with several wildlife charities and sanctuaries and help support them with the $102,000 our amazing community raised. An estimated 1 billion animals died in the recent fires here that are thankfully out now, but the surviving animals need our help more than ever RIGHT NOW as they have no access to food or medicine and too many are lying helplessly all over the countryside unable to move due to their wounds being infected, condemned to die in the next few days unless they get help ASAP. Lucy was one of the lucky ones to be found and nurtured back to health by a man called “Wombat Bill” (thanks for the intro @sammcglone ) but millions of other animals aren’t so lucky. We must ALL do what we can to help animals all over the world, that’s true love! #savethewombats #happyvalentinesday #wombat #saveaustralia #karmagawa

⚠️ WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT ⚠️ Repost from @karmagawa Please share this video of a man punching and knocking out a kangaroo as we must work together to stop acts of blatant animal cruelty like this once and for all! Animals are living creatures and we humans treat far too many of them terribly — they are NOT here to be our “punching bags” and what’s even worse here is that the people who filmed this disgusting act of violence are laughing at this poor kangaroo’s pain! Animals have feelings too so we must be MUCH MORE RESPECTFUL of them and make people everywhere understand that blatant animal abuse like this will not be tolerated in the future, and anyone who punches/hurts any animals, especially kangaroos that have already suffered so much due the recent fires in Australia, will be punished to the fullest extent of the law! As difficult as this video is to watch, please share it with your followers on Instagram, email it, text it, WhatsApp it, tweet it…send it to EVERYONE you know and tell them to share it too as must get the word out and NOT allow cruelty like this to continue in the future! The key to stopping animal abuse is educating everyone about this problem so please tag people, celebrities, and influencers who need to see this and let’s all work together to save defenseless animals all over the world! #savethekangaroos #endanimalcruelty #karmagawa

⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Repost from @karmagawa THIS ANIMAL CRUELTY MUST STOP RIGHT NOW! Please share this URGENT video of a kangaroo being forced to box and fight in front of a paying audience with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see this as we MUST work together to stop blatant animal cruelty like this before any more innocent animals are hurt! Let us be very clear: WILD ANIMALS ARE NOT ENTERTAINMENT AND SHOULD NEVER BE FORCED TO BOX/FIGHT! The key to ending this madness is making everyone aware and creating laws to make shows like this illegal and that process begins with you sharing this with your followers and tagging people who need to see this RIGHT NOW! Let’s all use our social media platforms for good — as disgusting animal shows like this only happen because too many unaware people buy tickets and do not realize how cruel they are to the animals...we can fix that by working together to educate EVERYONE and put a stop to this abuse RIGHT NOW! #dontbuyaticket #endanimalcruelty #karmagawa

Repost from @karmagawa We love this photo of a critically endangered orangutan extending his hand to help a man out of snake-infested waters in Borneo as this is the exact type of kindness that we humans must learn to show to animals in these desperate times. Sadly, it’s estimated that the Bornean orangutan population has dropped by 80% within the past three generations and an estimated 150,000 orangutans have been killed in the last 15 years alone. This is due to deforestation, the clearing of their rainforest habitat for logging, pulp paper and palm oil plantations, and the truly terrible practice of poaching orangutan mothers and selling their infants as pets. We humans MUST do better, we MUST stop killing so many innocent animals and treating them so badly otherwise we doom the future of our planet and our own species too. The #coronavirus is truly tragic, but since it appears to have started in a wild animal market, it should be a wakeup call for EVERYONE to change our ways and treat animals with love and respect before it’s too late! Please use your social media platform to help us spread awareness about this URGENT crisis, share this beautiful photo and important message with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see it — let’s all work together and extend our own hands to help animals worldwide! ⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ THIS ANIMAL CRUELTY MUST STOP RIGHT NOW! Repost from @karmagawa Please share this URGENT post with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media who need to see how badly animals are being treated all over the world! We at @karmagawa will be exposing much more about the unhygienic conditions far too many poor defenseless animals are being kept in factories, farms and markets worldwide and it’s these dirty and disgusting conditions that create deadly viruses like SARS, MERS and now the coronavirus too so WE MUST WORK TOGETHER TO END THIS ANIMAL CRUELTY RIGHT NOW before anymore innocent animals, and now humans, are killed! Thank you to our friend @therealtarzann for posting about this and if anyone wants to chat more about this and any other issue, our US followers can now text us at 323-310-1679. ⚠️WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠️ Repost from @karmagawa Please share this URGENT post about the coronavirus outbreak with your followers as people have begun killing their pets, mistakenly believing that they can get the virus from them AND THAT IS NOT TRUE! There is NO evidence that cats and dogs spread this virus and pets do not deserve to be killed all due to rumors/misinformation! Swift left to see photos of this tragedy and read the official statement from the World Health Organization that says there is no evidence that dogs or cats can get infected with this new virus and please share this URGENT information with your followers and HELP US ALERT EVERYONE RIGHT NOW to save the lives of too many innocent animals that are being killed due to these ugly rumors! Sadly, after these rumors went viral on social media in China, reports say several poor animals were thrown from the upper floors of apartment buildings in the middle of the night, waking up neighbors when they hit the ground, and found in street the next morning. This virus is truly scary, having now killed 426 people with 20,620 confirmed cases in 27 countries and 60+ million more people are still on lockdown to prevent further spreading, but we must NOT spread false rumors and remember to treat other people, and animals, with respect. To stay updated in real-time our US followers can now text us at 323-310-1679 and also follow @karmagawa on Instagram too. Please let’s all use our social media platforms to spread accurate information ONLY, not rumors that cost innocent animals their lives so share this URGENT post with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see this and let’s work together to to save as many humans and animals alike as possible! #coronavirus #endanimalcruelty #coronavirusoutbreak #karmagawa

⚠️WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠️ Repost from @karmagawa Please share this important post about the coronavirus that’s now in 24 countries as there’s a lot of misinformation online so we need your help in getting the facts out to everyone! In 20 days since the outbreak began, there are 14,677 confirmed cases, 19,544 suspected cases, 305 deaths so far (the first death outside China happened in the Philippines yesterday), 2,110 people in serious condition and 62 million people in China under lockdown to prevent further spreading. These numbers are likely low as due to huge demand, China has been running out of tests, masks and medicine to treat patients so many people who have the virus don’t know they have it, especially since it takes several days, anywhere from 2-14 days, to incubate. The good news is 328 people have recovered, the fatality rate so far is only 2% (meaning 1 death in 50 cases) compared to 10% for SARS (but many times more than seasonal flu which is .01%), and thanks to recent advances in medicine/technology, the virus' genome has been sequenced, allowing for better testing/faster vaccine development. But there are still risks as new viruses can mutate, and the low fatality rate means victims can spread the virus to more people — and people showing no symptoms appear to be able to spread this new virus too. This virus has already infected nearly double the amount of people SARS did in 1/5th the time so being overprotective is key to preventing this going truly viral worldwide, like the Spanish Flu did in 1918, which had a 10% fatality rate and infecting 500+ million people, or roughly 1/3rd of the world’s population at the time, including many people aged 20-40. Medicine has advanced greatly now, but what if this new virus gets into third world countries without access to medicine/hospitals? Please pray for the world, stay safe (by wearing a mask, washing your hands frequently and avoiding overly-crowded places) and help us get this info out to everyone by sharing this post with your followers and tagging people, celebrities and influencers who need to see it! #coronavirus #coronavirusoutbreak #karmagawa

⚠️ WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT ⚠️ Repost from @savethereef Please share this sad video of a turtle being fed a spicy pepper as we must work together to stop acts of blatant animal cruelty like this and end animal pranks like this once and for all! Animals are living creatures and we humans treat far too many of them terribly — they are NOT here for our entertainment and this poor turtle looks to be in immense pain thanks to this prank so we must get the word out that this will not be tolerated in the future, and anyone who abuses any animals will be punished to the fullest extent of the law! As difficult as this video is to watch, please share it with your followers on Instagram, email it, text it, WhatsApp it, Tweet it…send it to EVERYONE you know and tell them to share it too as must not allow cruelty like this to continue in the future! ⚠️ WARNING: DISTRESSING CONTENT ⚠️ Repost from @karmagawa Please share this with your followers and help make it go viral as while we thank everyone in the @karmagawa community for helping us raise $102,000 in January to be donated to Australian wildlife charities, a koala massacre just happened this past week due to the bulldozing of 140 acres of land during the logging of a blue gum plantation, located approximately 12-14km west of the south west Victorian town of Portland.⁣ According to local sources hundreds of koalas may have been killed/injured during logging activities this week alone and locals apparently witnessed the bulldozing of many dead koalas into slash piles, which were burned to get rid of the evidence.⁣ The Karmagawa team will be traveling to Australia in 2 weeks to visit and donate to several great wildlife charities and report firsthand what we see because tens of thousands of koalas died during the Kangaroo Island fires and New South Wales alone, along with many other animals too so we MUST do what we can to rescue and protect the survivors! Please share this heartbreaking news with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see it as we must use our social media platforms to spread awareness about this to save these poor defenseless animals. Australia’s fires are bad enough, the last thing we need now are heartless corporations killing even more of the precious wildlife so help us get the word out and let’s protect the koalas, and all the other animals in danger too! We MUST work together to get the word out to get the media to cover this koala massacre and for the government to step in so please share this and tag people/news media and help us alert EVERYONE ASAP! Thanks for head’s up @friends_earth and @extinctionrebellionsydney #savethekoalas #endanimalcruelty #karmagawa

⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Repost from @karmagawa Please share this CRUCIAL post with your followers because we must make EVERYONE aware that the unhygienic markets where live dogs, cats, snakes, rats, bats, monkeys and many other animals are traded are NOT just in China, THEY EXIST WORLDWIDE! And because these markets are breeding grounds for deadly zoonotic diseases (viruses that spread from animals to humans) like SARS, MERS and now the coronavirus, WE MUST BAN THEM ALL PERMANENTLY before any more viruses are created and getting the word out about this URGENT PROBLEM is key to saving countless lives! The coronavirus may have come from bats as they host the highest proportion of viruses of any animal, and with more than 1,300 species of bats, they are second only to rodents in mammal diversity, so selling these creatures with countless viruses in these disgusting markets is sadly the perfect environment for deadly viruses to grow and mutate to become deadly to humans as one of them will eventually go truly viral and kill thousands, if not millions of people...so, why risk it? The problem is hardly anyone is aware that this is a global issue so WE MUST use our social media platforms to spread awareness and BAN WILD ANIMAL TRADING WORLDWIDE, not just in China, as this new coronavirus, which still has no vaccine, has now killed 132 people with 5,900 confirmed cases in 15 countries, numbers which are growing 30-50% per day despite attempts to limit its spreading. To stay updated in real-time about this crisis, our US followers can now text us at 323-310-1679 and also follow @karmagawa on Instagram too. Please pray for the the victims of the virus and their families and share this post with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see this and let’s work together to PERMANENTLY ban the trading of wild animals, not just in China, but WORLDWIDE! ⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Repost from @karmagawa Please share this URGENT post about the coronavirus epidemic with your followers as the origin of the virus has been traced to the zone of the Wuhan market where live wild animals like snakes, rats, bats and monkeys were traded before China instituted a temporary ban yesterday. But a temporary ban is NOT enough, WE MUST use our social media platforms to spread awareness and BAN WILD ANIMAL TRADING WORLDWIDE as this is EXACTLY what caused the SARS virus that killed nearly 800 people in 2003! SARS was 17 years ago and yet these markets are doing the exact same thing, selling live wild animals in unhygienic conditions that create diseases with devastating consequences for the entire human race! This new virus, which has no vaccine, has killed 82 people with 2,887 confirmed cases in 15 countries, numbers which have increased 50% SINCE YESTERDAY and 60 million more people are on lockdown to prevent further spreading. To stay updated in real-time our US followers can now text us at 323-310-1679 and also follow @karmagawa on Instagram too. Please pray for the world and share this URGENT post with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see this and let’s work together to PERMANENTLY ban the trading of wild animals that create these deadly viruses! #coronavirus #endanimalcruelty #coronavirusoutbreak #karmagawa

RIP to the great Kobe Bryant who died in a helicopter crash earlier today, sadly with his daughter Gianna who was just 13 years old along with 3 other people. Such a tragedy and gone far too soon…I only got to meet Kobe once in person, shaking his enormous hands and congratulating him on his all his success as I’ve been a fan of his all my life. His infamous work ethic and dedication to being the best basketball player, and lately an investor, that he could be, was so inspiring and everyone can learn from it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and all his many, many fans worldwide, today we lost a true legend and the world is a lesser place because of it. RIP Kobe you will be missed greatly! #ripkobe #ripkobebryant #gonetoosoon #legendsneverdie

⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Repost from @karmagawa PLEASE SHARE THIS URGENT POST ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS THAT’S BREAKING OUT WORLDWIDE WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS RIGHT NOW — so far there have been 56 deaths and 2,090 confirmed cases worldwide, but the number of people infected has increased greatly the past 72 hours and rumored to be much higher, as the nurse says in one of these videos says, there could be 90,000 people infected and each person infected can unknowingly infect many other people too…do you remember the movie Contagion? We don’t want to freak anyone out, but instead make everyone aware of what’s happening to save lives so be sure to follow @karmagawa and we’ll keep updating everyone as this crisis develops. There’s already a quarantine in effect on over 60 million people in China, but even with lock down, this virus has already spread to 10 other countries with confirmed cases, including 3 confirmed cases in the US with the latest happening just a few hours ago in Orange County, California. Please do not travel if you have a cough or fever and it’s good to be over-protective right now so wear masks when you go out, try to avoid heavily crowded areas and wash your hands frequently with soap and hand sanitizer. There’s no cure or vaccine for this virus yet so let’s all be over-protective and also share this URGENT post with your social media followers, friends and family because we MUST GET THE WORD OUT ASAP to prevent further spreading of this virus — as you can see in these videos, it’s something out of a movie as those who are infected are literally falling over in the streets and nurses and hospitals are overwhelmed so we must alert EVERYONE about this crisis RIGHT NOW! Please join us in praying for the victims and the world too and share this post with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see this now to save lives and limit the spread of this outbreak as best we can. #coronavirus #coronavirusoutbreak #karmagawa

We’ve been posting a lot of dark/sad content lately so here’s a few cute/uplifting videos of some animals that were just rescued — swipe left and comment which is your favorite and share this post with your followers and tag people, influencers and celebrities because we could all use a little more positivity in our lives :) Despite our planet’s many issues, there’s still time for us to change and be better, living more eco-friendly and not wasting so much, treating animals with respect/love and helping others in need are some of things we must work on in 2020. Never forget that while we humans are the cause of so many of our planet’s problems, we’re also the solution so we MUST work together to make this a better world for ALL living beings, humans and animals alike! We at @karmagawa and @savethereef are almost finished with production on our “Save Australia” charity march collection, in which 100% of the profits will be donated to Australian charities working to save the wildlife there and we can’t wait to start shipping it all in early February so check out the link in our bio and pre-order now to help us save more animals in Australia! #saveaustralia #savethereef #savetheanimals #karmagawa

⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Repost from @karmagawa THIS ANIMAL CRUELTY MUST STOP RIGHT NOW! Please share this video of a pig being forced to bungee jump to celebrate the opening of a new attraction at a Chinese theme park with your followers and tag people, celebrities and news media who need to see it because pigs and all other animals should NEVER be used for “entertainment” like this! We know this video is very difficult to watch, especially since you can hear the poor pig crying out as this is torture for this animal, but by spreading awareness on social media about truly detestable acts like this, widespread public condemnation and outrage is key to making sure no other company or individual performs any stunts like this ever again, thus helping to end disgusting acts like this once and for all! Sadly, this is just the latest example in a long list of cases where humans abuse animals and too many people who attend circuses, animal shows, zoos and parks like this have no idea how poorly the animals are treated behind the scenes when the public leaves. We must use our social media platforms to make EVERYONE aware that we cannot tolerate this blatant animal abuse like this anymore so please share this video, tag people who need to see it and let’s all work together to make sure this NEVER HAPPENS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD EVER AGAIN! ⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Repost from @savethereef Please share this video of a fish that died due to how much plastic it ingested as while it’s difficult to watch, it exemplifies a MAJOR crisis happening right now that too few people know about. While businesses have begun banning plastic straws all over the world, they only make up an estimated 2-4% of plastic pollution in our oceans so it’s other kinds of plastic waste that are killing millions of marine animals, including sharks, dolphins, seals and turtles…and it’s only getting worse each year. Remember, plastic lasts dozens or even hundreds of years, killing many animals, not just one or two, slowly degrading into smaller and smaller fragments and becoming part of the food chain, which is sadly how it harms us humans too, when we consume seafood that has been contaminated. We MUST stop this NOW before it’s too late as it’s estimated there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050 and the key is spreading awareness about this mostly unknown but urgent crisis to EVERYONE so please share this video with your followers and tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that need to see this now — let’s work together to lessen our plastic waste before it kills all our marine life, and us too! It’s finally raining in some of the parts hardest hit in Australia, some welcome relief in helping put out some of the fires that have been burning recently, but it also creates new challenges for the rescue teams and for these poor animals looking for safety as they have been through so much! We at @karmagawa and @savethereef have now surpassed 50%+ of our goal to raise $100,000 for the month of January to donate to Australian charities to fight the fires and save more animals so please keep purchasing our new “Save Australia” charity merch (see link in our bio) as we’ll proudly continue donating 100% of our merch profits to this cause all month long! And when you buy this new Karmagawa charity merch, you not only help us donate more $, but also you help spread awareness about this crisis every time you wear this apparel out or post about it on social media because money alone can’t fix this crisis, we MUST all learn to work together to make this a better planet for humans and animals alike and that starts with awareness/education so thank you for all your support, let’s keep working to save Australian communities and wildlife! #saveaustralia #savethekangaroos #savethekoalas #karmagawa

Finally some good news from Australia, the government is using helicopters and airplanes to feed hungry wildlife while the bushfires continue to rage, preventing rescuers from using the roads and devastating the homes of so many animals. The New South Wales government began doing food drops of thousands of pounds of carrots and sweet potatoes for rock wallaby colonies in several national parks in what they call “Operation Rock Wallaby” because even if the animals survive the initial fires, they are left with no source of food as the fire destroys the vegetation around their rocky habitat. The rock wallaby, the main species for the state's food drop initiative, was already deemed at-risk before the bushfires, but now the fires have made it even tougher for them to survive so we must help these amazing creatures before it’s too late! These new videos show how desperate the situation is, with animals searching for shelter and water anywhere they can so let’s all support great local charities there like @wireswildliferescue @1300koalaz @deeppeacetrust @balubluefoundation @adelaidekoalahospital @nswrfs @redcrossau and we at @karmagawa and @savethereef are proud to donate 100% of profits from our charity merch sales in January to these Australian charities (see the link in bio and use the coupon code happyholidays to save 50% off for a limited time), but please also share this post with your followers and tag people, celebrities and influencers who need to see it ASAP because these poor animals desperately need everyone’s help right now! We at Karmagawa are helping by donating 100% of profits from our charity merch sales in January to Australian charities and our goal is to donate $100,000+ (see the link in bio and use the coupon code happyholidays to save 50% off for a limited time), but please also share this post with your followers and tag people, celebrities and influencers who need to see it ASAP because we must all work together to make this a better planet for humans and animals alike and these poor animals desperately need everyone’s help right now! PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS NOW: Repost from @karmagawa Watch these videos of the devastating wildfires in Australia and share them with your followers as we MUST get these brave firefighters and communities help ASAP! An estimated 500 million animals and also 20 people have already been killed, including 3 volunteer firefighters, and roughly six million hectares (60,000 square km or 14.8 million acres) of bush, forest and parks have been burned. As we post this, more than 100 fires are still burning across New South Wales, with some fires that are so large they are the size of Manhattan! So, please join us in praying for Australia and also let’s all use our social media platforms for good and share these videos with your followers and tag people, influencers, celebrities and news media that need to see this as we MUST get the word out about how this urgent crisis is and get international help for these communities! We’re also posting videos of several locals refusing to shake hands with Australia’s prime minister Scott Morrison, who is a climate change skeptic and who has aggressively grown Australia’s coal industry while opposing measures to combat climate change and even going so far as to reject additional funding for firefighters…meaning politicians won’t be much help here so we must step up and get international aid in order to save as many human and animals lives as possible! Check out the link in our bio to purchase Karmagawa charity merch as we’re donating 100% of profits for the month of January on all our charity apparel to hardworking Australian charities like @wireswildliferescue @1300koalaz @deeppeacetrust @balubluefoundation @adelaidekoalahospital @nswrfs @redcrossau and also DM us for instructions on how to donate directly as every donation, great and small, is appreciated as we must come together to help Australia ASAP! Please share this post with your followers and tag people who need to see what’s happening, spreading awareness is crucial in getting the most help! #sendhelp #wildfires #karmagawa

Repost from @karmagawa PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS RIGHT AWAY: Huge wildfires in Australia are growing steadily bigger, causing tens of thousands of people to evacuate while also killing hundreds of millions of animals in their wake! The state of New South Wales just declared a state of emergency, with the authorities warning that the fires heading their way this weekend might be the worst yet in an already catastrophic season. The devastation is immense. At least 15 people have died, with 8 deaths confirmed in the past week. Fires raged across forest and scrubland along Australia’s Pacific coast, choking cities with thick smoke, charring more than 1,800 houses and killing countless wild animals. Australia is normally hot and dry in summer, but climate change, which brings more frequent and longer periods of extreme heat, worsens these conditions and makes vegetation drier and more likely to burn. This is the worst fire season in Australia’s recorded history and what we can do to help is share these powerful images to make this go viral like the fires in Brazil did a few months ago as only then will international aid truly happen. Please join us in praying for Australia and also let’s all use our social media platforms for good and share this post with your followers and tag people, influencers, celebrities and news media that need to see this as we MUST get the word out about this urgent crisis and get international help for these communities! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Repost from @karmagawa PLEASE START 2020 OUT RIGHT BY READING/SHARING THIS IMPORTANT POST FROM @brinkleydavies WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS AND TAG PEOPLE WHO NEED TO SEE THIS: I guess at some point the earth had to speak back. It can only take so much, we live as if we have another planet to go to. Take & take & ignore reality. The world came together for the Amazon a few months back, where 900,000 hectares burnt. In Australia over 5,000,000 hectares have burnt & it’s still out of control. Where is our global help? Our government & military help? 500 million animals have died from direct or indirect suffering. We are living in smoke filled towns or cities. This is the most devastation Australia has suffered in decades. I am lucky, I spent last night with my friends & family, still not without the strong smoke smell that fills the town as the wind changed from fires burning 19km away. The sun setting through a smokey haze. Many people spent last night at sea, fleeing their homes, for safety on the ocean, or fighting fires risking their lives. In 2020, we need to change, if not already, change your habitats, think about the impact. Change your diet, know what you support. The earth is different now, it’s not like 100 years ago. The land, soil, air, can’t handle it anymore. Whether it’s small or drastic change within yourself it’s what we need. Please understand our government doesn’t have our best interest in mind, the environment in mind. Speak up, come together, support each other, there is no Planet B. If the planet burns, how can we breathe? Australia needs help to be green again, not drilled and farmed & cleared to the point of no return and drought. Please DONATE/support all the orgs below, firefighters, volunteers, wildlife rescue, ambulance teams. To everyone/every animal in the middle of hell at the moment here in Australia, my heart goes out to you, & I choose to make every choice I can for a better planet, even more so than I always have. Make it a 2020 for this planet we all call home. DONATE TO: Firefighters across Aus: CFSfoundation.org.au @nswrfs @adelaidekoalarescue @wireswildliferescue @deeppeacetrust @1300koalaz #karmagawa

Happy holidays and Happy New Year too! What a year this has been for the whole @karmagawa team and myself so I’m proud to announce our final donation of 2019 is for $10,000 to the great charity @sheldricktrust here in Kenya for their Orphans’ Project because their team works tirelessly to take care of and rehabilitate baby orphaned elephants and rhino that have lost their parents mainly due to poaching — they deserve much more exposure and financial support so they can help even more animals in need! It’s been an honor to visit their headquarters, meet their extraordinary team, learn about their work/dedication and now to help support them to further their important work with these beautiful animals! This year I learned SO much about myself and our truly amazing planet, and in particular my love for animals has turned into an obsession to help them survive, especially rhino, elephants and giraffes which are all now sadly endangered species that are set to become extinct in the next decade or so if we do nothing so we MUST NOT LET THAT HAPPEN! I’ll post more soon how I think we can all help this crisis, but to be honest after traveling to 30+ countries in 2019 while also trading/teaching and building the @karmagawa and @savethereef communities, I’m just exhausted right now so my New Year’s resolution is to slow down in 2020…a little :) Also, I want to thank you and all my followers because being able to share my crazy life with you and talking with so many of you makes this whole journey much more fun and fulfilling too — let’s make 2020 the best year ever, for humans and animals alike! #happynewyear #babyelephants #elephantlove #happyjewyear

Repost from @karmagawa A cyclist helped a thirsty koala by giving him something to drink during his morning race in Adelaide, Australia as the poor dehydrated animal walked right up to a group of cyclists and got on the bicycle to drink directly from the water bottle — he was that thirsty! Sadly, thousands of koalas are now feared to have died in the wildfires raging across Australia, with officials saying they believe up to a third of the iconic marsupial population may have been lost. Koalas are native to Australia and are one of the country’s most beloved animals, but their natural habitat, eucalyptus forests, has been destroyed by wildfires and a years-long drought. Please share this touching video with your followers and tag people who need to see it in order to help everyone around the world better understand how urgent this crisis is in Australia right now and to remind people to help animals in need whenever possible! Great video @bikebug2019 and thank you for helping this koala! #helpanimals #savethekoalas #endwildfires #karmagawa

⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Repost from @karmagawa THIS ANIMAL CRUELTY MUST STOP RIGHT NOW! Please share this post with your followers and tag people, celebrities and news media who need to see it to help us spread awareness of how poorly these animals are being treated! This ugliness happens far too frequently all over the world and we need more people to unite and stand up to find a way to end barbaric practices like this once and for all! Our poor animals deserve better and we need your help to make it happen as we MUST work together and fight against this kind of cruelty TOGETHER! Please share this tragic video and tag people who need to see it and encourage them to share it too so that when enough outraged people see this, we can punish people who allow this and eventually change laws to prohibit acts like this and make this a better planet for humans and animals alike! Merry Christmas, happy Chanukah and happy holidays! After a crazy few days, I finally made it to Nigeria in time to give out toys and supplies to the kids here for Christmas as it’s SO important to give back to others so I’m proud to help out the amazing locals here. People tend to remember to give back only around the holidays, but hopefully if you follow @karmagawa you’re reminded to have the giving spirit all yearlong as it’s truly a way of life/mindset that many more people need because it really brings SO MUCH meaning and fulfillment to your life…try it out and see! I also want to say thank you to everyone who has joined @badboi and I on any @karmagawa trip (like @kelv and @andreduqum did here in Nigeria), shared our photos and videos with your followers, watched our documentaries or bought any of our charity merch (go to karmagawa.com and use the coupon code happyholidays to save 50% off for the next week!) as we continue growing our community/family of like-minded individuals who want to make this a a better world for humans and animals alike…happy holidays to all and I hope you get some quality time with your friends and family! #givingback #merrychristmas #merrychristmukkah #happychanukah #karmagawa #hebrewclaus

Throwback to my trip to Israel a few weeks ago…how crazy is it that it was my first time there?!? And what’s even crazier is this natural salt formation that I used as my next level running track to work out on when I visited The Dead Sea as there’s so much salt in the water, you can’t even swim in it, you just float! This was definitely up there for me on my coolest experiences ever list (as it had been on my to Jew list for a while too!), but the trip was most memorable for me because I went with my family who had never been here either and let’s just say it got VERY emotional! I’ll post more about that soon because it’s worth a post all to itself and I get all sentimental at the end of the year as I like looking back at everything I did during the year…which was quite a lot for me as I hit a record 32 countries visited in 2019! Yes, my name is Tim and I have an addiction…a fucken travel addition that I will indulge as much as I can and am not looking to fix anytime soon! Anyway, please share this post with people who needs a reminder how beautiful our world is when you have the freedom to explore it and leave a comment letting me know how your 2019 has been and what you can do to make your 2020 even better. No matter what bad shit, or even great things, have happened to you this year, always look to improve and make your future even brighter! I know it’s tough sometimes (especially on social media these days) but you always gotta stay positive and we all must work together to make our planet better for humans and animals alike! #tbt #iloveisrael #jewspiration

Swipe over to see how my goals have evolved over the years because while it’s important to dream big, it’s even more important to adapt over time to find what makes you happy, and what might’ve fulfilled in the past might not always have the same meaning as you once thought. Trust me, aside from being able to take care of my parents which is still my proudest achievement, and to explore the world which I’m still obsessed with, all I used to dream about as a kid was driving exotic cars like Lambos and Ferraris and then when I actually bought them, I was SO excited! But after every new exotic car that I bought and drove for a while, the excitement died down, and I had to reevaluate my goals/dreams, so much so that when I recently sold them all, I really couldn’t care less! Now, I’m far prouder to build schools in communities that need education so badly — at first in my name, but after a few it just became strange to focus so much attention on myself so I started naming schools after my top students and then when my brother @badboi and I began the charity community @karmagawa and began getting all of our friends involved in the act of giving back, it just felt right! Now a little over 2 years, 67 Karmagawa schools and libraries later, along with 16 built by our social media followers, we’re well on our way to our ultimate goal of 1,000+ schools/libraries and I’m more motivated than ever to doing all that I can to achieve my new goals! So, what are your dreams and how hard are you willing to work to make them a reality?! #motivationmonday #dreambig #adaptation #jewdreaming

I’ve lived a crazy life and been fortunate enough to be able to fulfill all my childhood dreams and more. My mission these days is all about helping others live their dream lives too, teaching them to become millionaires through stock trading along with my @karmagawa charity’s mission to build schools all over the world and also helping the environment through my @savethereef project...and I’m only able to do all this while traveling nonstop because I’ve focused on what I love and put my entire being into every project I take on. Too many depressed people message me every day because they’re busy building other people’s dreams...please stop doing that! Maximize this extraordinary time in history and utilize all the new tools and technology that is revolutionizing education like never before! Thank you @iamjoelbrown for this great video, sorry for making so many jokes throughout the interview :) #throwbackthursday #buildyourowndreams #jewsinthejungle

Repost from @karmagawa BREAKING NEWS: It’s with great sadness to report that Sootie the koala has died from his horrendous wounds. He was being cared for by @portstephenskoalas but quietly passed away in his sleep as his little body couldn't cope anymore. He was such a stoic, brave little man. Never a complaint and he tried SO hard. Please share this post with your followers and tag everyone who needs to see this so Sootie’s death will not be in vain, and will instead serve as a tragic reminder to us all on how urgent this wildfire crisis has become for more and more animals that are losing their homes and their lives every day. After we reported on the death of Lewis the koala, many people said “so what, it’s just another animal that has died”, but people must learn that EVERY animal matters and being mean-spirited/narrow-minded cannot be tolerated anymore if we truly want to save the sadly fast-becoming endangered koala species and so many more animals around the world that perish due to human activity. WE MUST DO BETTER! Please share this post to help us spread awareness about this crisis and RIP to Sootie #savethekoalas #koalalove #karmagawa

Repost from @karmagawa Here’s why we are SO proud for Karmagawa to support animal rescue centers like @animalaid_india all over the world as they help so many animals in need! Please share this video with your followers and tag people, influencers and celebrities who need to see it as four small puppies came close to losing their lives in a horrendous accident when they stumbled into spilled tar in a garbage pile, but thanks to the hard work of some kind-hearted individuals these puppies were saved! When the first one wandered in and got stuck in the tar, she must have cried so much that the others came to see what was the matter, and they too got glued down by the awful tar. We knew they had a mother, but we couldn't find her until the day after their rescue and the hours-long process of removing the tar with oil and dish soap. These poor puppies were dazed with confusion, pain, fear and frustration, and two were so completely covered that all they could move was their eyes. But by the time Mommy arrived, they were freed from the poisonous grip of the tar and ready for the comfort of her love! We ALL must do what we can to help animals whenever possible…share this story with your followers and let’s inspire everyone to make this a better planet for humans and animals alike! #helpanimals #kindnessmatters #karmagawa

Repost from @karmagawa It is with great sadness to report that Lewis the koala, whose dramatic rescue from fires burning all around him became a viral video, has died from his wounds. The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital has been caring for Lewis, but they made the decision to euthanize Lewis due to his wounds and pain being too severe and not treatable. Please share this post with your followers and tag everyone who needs to see this so Lewis’ death will not be in vain, to serve as a tragic reminder to us all how urgent this wildfire crisis has become for more and more animals that are losing their homes and their lives every day. As reported over the weekend, Koalas are now functionally extinct due to their already endangered status combined now with the loss of their habitat so we’ve changed the link in our bio to a fundraiser to help the surviving koalas...all donations great and small are welcomed! Please share this post to help us spread awareness about this crisis and RIP to Lewis #savethekoalas #lewisthekoala #karmagawa

BREAKING NEWS: Repost from @karmagawa Please Share This Post With Your Followers As We MUST Save The Koalas! Recent bushfires, along with prolonged drought and deforestation has led to koalas becoming “functionally extinct” according to experts. Deforestation and bushfires destroy the main nutrient source of koalas, the eucalyptus tree. An adult koala will eat up to 2 pounds of eucalyptus leaves per day as its main staple of nutrients. While eucalyptus plants will grow back after a fire, it will take months, leaving no suitable food source for koalas and starvation a likely scenario for many. Many are urging the Australian government to enact the Koala Protection Act, written in 2016 but never passed into law and molded after the Bald Eagle Protection Act in the U.S. The Koala Protection Act would work to protect habitats and trees vital to koalas as well as protect koalas from hunting. The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital setup a Go Fund Me page seeking donations to help the hospital treat injured koalas. To date, they have raised $1.33 million, well over their $25,000 goal. This comes from over 30,000+ donors, we’ve changed the link in the @karmagawa bio to the fundraiser to help the koalas too, please share this important post with your followers and tag people, influencers and celebrities who need to see it! #savethekoalas #bushfires #karmagawa Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/trevornace/2019/11/23/koalas-functionally-extinct-after-australia-bushfires-destroy-80-of-their-habitat

As I head back to Europe for the next few days, I can’t help but think about how grateful I am for this life that I could only dream about growing up in a small town in Orange, Connecticut (not the fancy Greenwich area most people think about in CT) and now that I’m living my dreams I hope I can inspire you to #dreambig and #workhard to make your dream life a reality too! No matter who you are, what your background is or what anyone has told you that you can or can’t achieve, I’m here to tell you that you are capable of achieving ANYTHING you set your mind to as long as you persevere through the early ups and downs and stay dedicated to your goals over time. While everyone has haters, doubters, and possibly even a little self-doubt too, you have to push all that negativity aside and focus on what you love and work at it day in day out to become a true expert on your field and then once you achieve that mastery, the world is truly yours! It’s not a fun process grinding hard daily to master any subject, but you do get to have a ton of fun after you succeed so get ready to hustle and remember that patience is key as you’re seeing me 20+ years into journey and I’ve only really been crushing it the past 5-7 years or so, everything else was just A LOT of learning...especially learning what not to do! Here’s some visual motivation from my last trip to Europe at @cavotagoomykonos which is a hotel I HIGHLY recommend for crazy cave pool rooms like this, amazing sushi and fast WiFi too as no matter where I go, I bring the laptop with me as I never forget what got me here in the first place! #fbf #cavotagoo #laptoplifestyle #gratitude #edjewcation #jewblue

Repost from @karmagawa A 10-week-old abandoned puppy with a secondary tail, in the middle of his head, has been taken in by the @macthepitbull animal rescue center in Missouri. Staff at Mac's Mission, which is predominantly for animals with special needs, have called the puppy Narwhal. I’ve been traveling to a lot of crazy places lately where there are no gyms so I gotta get my workouts in wherever I can and thankfully the #deadsea provided me with an all natural running track made out of salt with quite an amazing view! But as fun as it seems the pressure was on to not fall because the salt is so sharp you need shoes and the water is so full of salt that you actually float so if you get a scrape or any water in your eyes it’s the worst pain EVER...so I had to stay extra-focused while running! Whatcha think, would you run here too!?! #workoutmotivation #nodaysoff #jewblue #jewswithviews #jewsainbolt

It’s the weekend so I don’t always have my laptop with me, sometimes I just chill and enjoy my surroundings! I swam back to this crazy little island made entirely of salt in the Dead Sea in Israel a few times, taking in its unique views while also thinking about how lucky we are to be living in this amazing time in history filled with more opportunity than ever before. But I often wonder who will capitalize on all their potential and who will just waste it? I’m blessed to have so many incredible people in my life who are following their passion and doing truly inspiring things, but sadly I also know too many talented people who, for whatever reason, aren’t taking advantage of all they have been given and I want to smack them...hard...and get them out of their funk because they are capable of so much more and there’s nothing worse than wasted potential! So...which one are you? How hard are you wiling to make ALL your dreams come true? Think long and hard before you answer as these are two questions that can really change your life over time! #dreambig #buildyourowndreams #deadsea #jewblue

Please share this post with your followers and tag people, celebrities and news media who need to see it and help us get the word out about how poorly these lions are being treated in Sudan! This is just the latest in a long list of zoos, animal parks and circuses with live animal shows all over the world that treat their animals like crap and unaware tourists pay money to see, inadvertently helping to support this animal abuse with their hard-earned money. WE MUST MAKE EVERYONE AWAREE ABOUT THIS AND STOP THIS BS IMMEDIATELY and spreading awareness all over the world on social media is the key to getting unethical places like this shutdown so again, we need your help in making that happen so please share this heartbreaking post with your followers, tag people, celebrities, influencers and news media that needs to se it and let’s use our social media platforms to make this world better by exposing this blatant animal cruelty as the way this zoo starves these lions is utterly disgusting and the whole world must see in order save these poor lions before it’s too late!

⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Please share this heartbreaking video of horses covered in ash from the eruption of the Taal volcano in the Philippines with your followers because while the local people were moved to safety, the animals were left behind and now there are 3,000 horses stranded there, along with other animals too, so we need to get the word out about this RIGHT NOW and help rescue these poor animals before another eruption happens, which could happen anytime in the next few days. We at @karmagawa and @savethereef are donating to @pawsphilippines and @petaasia as these two great charities are coordinating rescue efforts for animals caught in the path of this devastating volcano and just yesterday alone, 43 horses, 7 cows, 3 carabaos, 5 goats and 1 pig were successfully evacuated from the recently-declared danger zone of Balete to the Lipa City Veterinary Office! But these charities need our support ASAP in order to rescue more animals before the volcano erupts again so this is an EXTREMELY URGENT and time sensitive rescue mission! Please share this post with your followers, celebrities and influencers and tag people people who need to see this because there are still good people out there and we must all work together on operations like this to save more animals during this crisis! #saveanimals #australia #karmagawa

⚠WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠ Please share this sad breaking news with your followers — while over 1.25 billion animals are now estimated to have died in the Australian wildfires so far, the ordering of 10,000 camels to be killed because they drink too much water is just tragic! We don’t think these poor animals deserve to be killed for simply trying to survive and there has to be a better solution than this, so let’s hear what you think in the comments below — remember to be polite as this is a difficult time for everyone and WE MUST WORK TOGETHER to find ways of saving, not killing, any more animals! This shocking news should be a wakeup call to help everyone see how desperate the situation is for both the people and animals of Australia so they need our help RIGHT NOW!

Thanks for posting this @therealtarzann let’s work to end this cruelty TOGETHER! #endanimalcruelty #animalsdeservebetter #karmagawa

This is why I LOVE animals so much!!! Repost from @karmagawa A baby elephant was stuck upside down in a gutter, while a pride of lions were closing in…but elephants are truly amazing creatures so watch what happens and please share this video with your followers and tag someone who needs to see it as videos like this help show how incredible animals are so WE MUST DO A BETTER JOB PROTECTING THEM! Roughly 100 elephants die every day and at the current rate they will be extinct in the next decade or so…we need to get the word out before it’s too late as the empathy of elephants never ceases to amaze us!

⚠️WARNING GRAPHIC IMAGES⚠️ Repost from @savethereef In the last three decades, half of the world’s coral reefs have died and if we don’t act now those oceans treasures will be completely gone by 2050…it would be the destruction of an entire ecosystem, and with it, ourselves! They‘ve been told there was "no medical need to remove" the extra tail as it caused him no pain and the popularity of Narwhal on social media is helping raise awareness and money for the rescue center’s work. So, enjoy these beautiful pictures/videos of Narwhal and please share this post with your followers and tag dog lovers who need to see this in the comments and let’s all work together to raise even more awareness for incredible animal rescue centers like @macthepitbull that put so much time and effort into helping animals like this! #animalrescue #thisisme #doglovers #karmagawa
