Happy Monday from Suki! We’ve missed you all! Suki, Otis, and I are all doing well ... just very busy!

Throwback to one of my favorite Suki photos! Bunnies are lucky to be able to stand up like this because otherwise they wouldn’t be able to do the Kiki dance. So ... thank goodness for that.

Strange ... I found a penguin in a baby bunny costume on my porch. ... JUST KIDDING! It’s Otis! 😆 This photo has always reminded me of a penguin. Did I fool you?!

I’ve been so terrible with my posting! I’m sad that I haven’t made more time for new photos and posts. 😩 Here is Suki enjoying the summer breeze. She wants to know if there was a green screen behind her and she was wearing a cape, would you have mistaken her for Super Bunny flying through the clouds? She also wants to know if the name Super Suki would suit her? Please comment below. 😉

Baby Oti. He was just a little dot! A little bunny dot! Last night Otis did the most wonderful flop and I was so happy to see it. I don’t see flops as much these days, but this one was truly lovely. Otis loves to squeeze himself behind Suki, so if I position her with only a tiny space between her and the wall, he’s sure to come over and squeeze in - and if I’m lucky, flop in! (P.S. Otis has always been so good with being held - better than any other bunny I’ve had. I like to cradle him in my arms and tell him I know he loves being held like a baby even though he’s a teenager now. 😆)

If only portion control was irrelevant to us all. 🙄😆

My fuzzy wuzzy muppet puppet bunny rabbit Suki. She does not like to be held, but is very brave when it’s time to come inside and I need to briefly scoop her up. She said I could take a quick selfie because she likes how the yellow background brings out her wool undertones. Would you agree?

Throwback to a truly momentous moment: Otis’s first time in a flower pot. For a bunny, that’s a pretty big deal. ☺️

Bunnies should not eat succulents but Otis couldn’t keep his little bunny mouth off of them! He uprooted one and I had to leap to its rescue as it dangled from his mouth. Life as a bunny is really hard! They have to hear, “Not for bunnies!” so often. So I just pick him up, smoosh my cheek to his, gently rock him and say, “I know. It’s not easy being a bunny. I know,” and pretend that makes him feel all better. 🙄🙈

“Please, sir, I want some more.” Even though it doesn’t look like his belly could hold much more of anything, Otis wants to know if you would cast him as Oliver if this were his audition?

This is from Suki’s Gisele Bundchen phase when she wanted to be a bunny model and was convinced she looked like the Gisele Bundchen of bunnies. Personally, I think she’s right. ☺️ Does anyone agree?

Suki has developed a very strong sense of justice when it comes to equal petting. She will not stand for even one less head pat than Otis. If she’s busy eating hay and I start petting Otis, she’ll notice within seconds and run to us like a charging bull. If she senses the quality of her pets are being compromised because I’m petting Otis at the same time, she’ll ferociously dig in my clothing like she’s asking me to step it up. If I catch Otis alone, I tell him (endearingly!) “Cruella de Vil is coming!” and we huddle together waiting until she announces her arrival with a nose-boop that rivals that of a small rhinoceros. As we all snuggle up, I sing Cruella de Vil in a lullaby version to her because she’s too sweet and precious for anything but lullabies. And then I laugh at myself. 🙄

We’re still here! I’ve been terrible to not post for so long. 😔 Suki, Otis, and I are all doing very well. I just gave the bunnies fresh harecuts (get it? 😆) and can’t wait to take some new photos soon. Otis’s wool is incredibly beautiful and thick. He’s like a sheep. As usual, I have a big post-snippies blister on my finger from the scissors.

Oti wearing his mittens and slippers. ☺️ I wanted to tell everyone how much I LOVED the “When you’re ...” captions from Otis’s flower post. They were so funny! I’m now inspired to improve my own skills. 🤗

My relationship with Suki has changed so much these past few months. She used to back away every time my face came close to her. Now we snuggle together and she practically lets me use her as a pillow. 😆 It is so very possible to build trust with animals and for your relationship to grow stronger. Be patient, follow your pet’s lead, and carefully listen to what they’re “saying” through their body language. (My bunnies can also use their words, but I know not all pets can talk, and that’s okay.)

I’m not good at the trendy captions ... the, “When you’re ...” captions. Like, “When you’re really hungry and have nothing to eat but leaves” kind of caption. See? I’m terrible. 🙄 Please comment with your best, “When you’re ...” caption.

Not the most brilliant photos 🙈 but wanted to post! First photo: I call Suki Little Miss Muffet when she sits like this. And please take note of that perfectly gnawed foot-cubby that Otis made for himself. 😆 Second photo: Otis has always LOVED to squeeze himself behind me and Suki. It’s very funny. Lots of bunnies like small spaces, but he’s a real squeezer. Even if there’s only an inch or two between Suki and the wall, he never fails to try for the squeeze. 😆

Now that Otis is a part of our family, my little Suki girl gets very jealous when I give him even a second of attention more. Yesterday while I was petting him, she hopped over, thumped in his face, and hopped away. 😆 Usually she comes rushing over and nestles right up to share my attention, so I thought this protest was very funny. (Bunnies thump for a variety of reasons, but one is when they are angry.)

I’m so low on new photos, so wanted to share this one. It’s one of my favorites. It’s how Otis wore his cone after his neuter. It wouldn’t stay around his neck and I woke up one morning and he was wearing it like a skirt. It was so funny! He looked like a little housemaid. All he needed was a feather duster. 😆 But it did the trick for a couple days until he was healed.

We all know what Wally would have said if he saw this photo of Suki: “She’s the most [fill in the blank below] bunny I’ve ever seen!”

This was Oti before I gave him his first haircut! He looks like a little baby bear! 🤗 Maybe I will leave him long for a while ... it suits his personality well.

My little Suki McMufi eating her banana. Last night Suki did two amazing flops in a row while I was sitting next to her! I haven’t seen her flop like that in a long time. We all know what a flopper Wally was, and bunnies really do mimic each other’s behaviors. She flopped a lot more with Wally. She wanted to be just like him. ☺️ Otis is not a huge flopper ... yet. Maybe he’ll be encouraged if Suki keeps this up!

Lots of people have been asking about Suki. She’s very shy in front of the camera so I’m careful not to take too many photos. Here is one of her and Otis. I have so many great ones of her from the summer - winter lighting makes it so hard to take new photos when I’m working during the day! I’ll post more from my summer archives. Her photos are truly “utopian” for a bunny who doesn’t like the limelight!

Otis saw this photo and now thinks he’s as big as an entire window. ☺️🙈

Otis says, “Hello!” We have received a lot of emails asking how we are since our move. Otis and Suki are doing great and we love our new home! I (Molly) have been so busy with work and the move, but I miss posting and taking photos! I hope to start again soon, though probably not as frequently as before ... just every now and then to say hello and share a silly bunny story or two. 🤗 We hope that all of our followers are doing well, too! We miss you!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted! I was very busy with work and now I'm in the process of moving! I've had no time to take photos, so here is one of Otis on the day after I brought him home. I couldn't help but plop him in the fern plant for just a second. 🙈 Otis and Suki are doing very well and they both say, "Hello!" We hope to take some new photos once we move - we're right across from a fenced-in playground! 🤗 Packing up has come with lots of reminders of Wally. Going through my closet, I came across all of his photo props and his fish costume for Suki's arrival story and a hanger of all his little capes and his therapy bunny certification badge. It hurt my heart. But it also made me smile because who would ever imagine they'd have five handmade bunny capes hanging in their closet next to a coconut wearing a headband? (Remember the Nutsies story? 😆) I love and miss you very much, my Wally. 🍉

If you've never seen a bunny in a hanging basket, today is your lucky day. 😆

Otis wants to show people how tall he is and was wondering if people think a career in the NBA might be in his future? (I didn't tell him this, but my opinion is yes ... if NBA stands for Naughty Bunny Association. 😆)

Good morning from little Oti! Suki and I call him Oti, but when I'm speaking about him formally or if he does something bad like pee on Suki's head (he's still very young 🙈) I use Otis. 😆

If you can think of a better way to celebrate Friday than a photo of a bunny in a bucket, please do let me know. 😆

Suki has been such a good girl while bonding with Otis. She was not nearly as mean to him as Wally was to her. 🙈 She is so generous with her grooming and has been so patient with Otis; he has hardly groomed her! Boys. 🙄 (When bunnies start grooming each other, it's a sure sign they are bonding.) She keeps nudging her head underneath his, and he won't budge! Nevertheless, they are getting along very well. I love my sweet Suki so much. She's such a gentle-souled snuggle bug. ☺️ (P.S. Don't their colors looks pretty together! And I love Suki's bunny mullet in the second photo - you can see it from the back. 😆)

Good morning from little Otis! Today is the first day I left him and Suki together while at work. I hope I come home to two bunnies in one piece! 🙈

SURPRISE! This is OTIS! Suki's new best friend! I've been bonding them for about two weeks and they're almost there! Otis is such a mushy, squshy, beautiful, spirited little bunny! I love him! I still miss my Wally a lot. He was truly special. But I'm so happy to have Otis and know that Suki is SO happy to have a companion. (Even though Suki and I have basically become BFFs ... so ... Otis can never be her BFF, but I'll let him be her BBFF - Bunny Best Friend Forever. 😆)
